What I'm dying to know is why they would tease a kiss between them just to not deliver. It was kind of borderline insane. If they did not tease a kiss scene between them and it was just them chilling at the beach, i would have thought it was weird that they did not kiss but then moved past it instead of hoping. But whatever. Also, another thing that was incredibly messed up was Tae Hyun accusing Da Yeol of sexual assault and the excuse that was given was 'I'm messed'. That was all kinds of fucked up.
I hate watching a lot of things in a drama, i would waste a lot of time if i decided to list them but one thing i definitely hate above all is when dumb characters jump to assumptions. For example, the female teacher. What right did she have telling Gi Mu Hyuk that he was despicable. He was literally just a lawyer doing his job by trying to get his client acquitted and his client was still withholding information from him. If he hadn't done his job, he would have been labelled an asshole; he did his job and he was still seen as an asshole. While that female prosecutor had 2 months to go back to the scene of the crime and reinvestigate but she didn't and valuable evidence was probably lost. And she was always on her high horse judging him for doing his job while she sat in her office and did jack squat.
I thought with the amount of KBLs I've been watching i would be ready for the cringe fest that is Jun & Jun, but boy was i wrong. Two episodes in and i knew that there was no way in hell or earth that i would finish this drama without causing physical harm to myself or those around me. I think the reason why i could not stand the cringy acting and behavior was because the characters were supposed to be working, plant/pet owning adults (not that they owned any of these to my limited knowledge of the drama). Would definitely not recommend except you're a masochist who likes to suffer then go ahead and knock yourself out.
It was good. None of the leads were assaulted in the name of 'plot'. The leads also occasionally had chemistry and their relationship was cute and i also liked Shin Ki Tae's voice, it was really nice. But what do KBLs have against longer episodes. Like I've watched youtube videos that are longer than these episodes. Its infuriating because they have the story all that's left is to just tell it. Hoping and manifesting hour long BL episodes.
Nothing special about this drama. It was just okay, cute in some parts but okay in general. Even the 2nd couple that everyone is hyping were also just okay. With the way they were acting it was almost like the actors were forced to do this drama. And what was with the last episode. If they knew they were going to add that dumbass misunderstanding they might as well have added two more episodes so that both the conflict and resolution are fleshed out. But if you like mediocre or generic dramas, this would definitely suit your fancy.
Yoon Se Heon is definitely going to develop a back problem by the end of this drama with the amount of times he gets his back pushed against a hard surface. Cute drama tho
If you stopped watching it because of the first two episodes, it gets better like a lot better. The drama is really really good and Yi Su kind of reminds me of Lucifer Morningstar from Lucifer. I can't wait for the next season.
I absolutely love when female characters are smart and use their brains, even if they are evil. Ha Rin and Su Ji (Do Ah too) being clever and also being able to predict their next move(s) was just the icing on this magnificent cake.
I was practically dying to find out the reason Ha Rin started the game and how it was somehow always Ja Eun's fault. And when i eventually found out, i was a 100% sure Ha Rin was a lunatic. Like i needed her to be so for real. And the way Su Ji did not give a fuck about her story, she was so over and done with her lmao.
Firstly, if i was also in that kind of marriage where it feels like I'm suffocating and constantly alone, I would also want to leave marriage. I also think the death of their child was what initially caused the friction between them.
Secondly, Hyun Woo's family with the exception of his mother are trash. He feels alone in his marriage and also in his family who only care about what they can get from him and nothing else.
Thirdly, I really want to understand the beef Eun Sung has with the Queen's group. He was already giving major creep vibes from the beginning but killing a dog for funsies?? Yeah, definitely a red flag. Also speaking of beef, i think the Chairman's mistress definitely has a grudge against him.
And lastly, I hope Hae In finds out about his intention to divorce her in the next episode. I want it out in the open already.
Secondly, burning a child's hand with a lighter is just plain evil and most the girls in that class are just straight up vile.
And lastly, i love love love how Su Ji analyses every situation before making a move. God, she's so smart. Some might call her manipulative or calculating, and they would be right but she's also really clever. Obviously, breaking down the game would be very difficult but at least she's not going to sit in a corner and cry about it or try to change their minds with moving speeches or try to appeal to their emotions. Another FL added to my favourites.

This is the one reason i couldn't get behind Twinkling Watermelon.
