Title Love Next Door Spoiler
I just watched episode 8 and I'm so infuriated. I think I'm actually seeing red. Why is she entertaining this philandering fool. Why is she keeping ths fact that he's a cheat secret? The only one who should be embarrassed is her ex. I'm already sick of the cheating ex and that whole storyline, it's time for us to move on to other things.
We are literally half way through the drama and there's barely any romance. Is it when there are only 2 episodes left that they'll try squeezing everything in??
One thing I am interested in though is Seung Hyo's parent and their issues. I think the wife cheated that's why her husband was upset when he saw her with that man.

I felt it too like why hurting her when she didn't do anything wrong? if she did something to hurt you directly,…
He had the perfect chance to confess and put the ball in her court to either accept or reject his feelings.

Exactly. If he had confessed and she rejected him but keeps hanging around him and involving herself in his life then his attitude can be excused and i can understand but now his attitude makes him seem like an asshole.

Sometimes he's just so unnecessarily cruel to her. Like i know he has a lot of bottled up feelings and maybe even resentment but he can be so mean.
He's giving the vibe of those 2010s MLs that are repeatedly mean to their FLs desipte liking them. And i thought we had left those tropes behind because we definitely don't need it in 2024.

I can just tell that they put their backs into making this drama. The costumes, the acting even the fight scenes. I'm ready for second part

I don't think it will be about love with the ex plot line. He is a cheater, married & try to steal her idea. BUT…
No, the CEO is not going to be part of the love triangle. I think i saw an article where it says that he will have his own season with another female character, the webtoon artist.

here for the pragmatic but good-willed FL
Same here

They did the glasses thing😂😂.
You know in Western movies where a conventionally attractive character is seen as unattractive because they have on a glasses or their hair is tied up or covering their faces. Then it all changes when they take off their glasses, style their hair and change their way of dressing. That's what they did here and it was so hilarious😂😂

I love how practical and calculative the FL is. The overly righteous FLs should be phased out and replaced, they've had a good run.

Also, I hope they don't do the love square thing with her ex-boyfriend, it will just get unnecessarily messy.

I usually watch dramas on 1.3x speed but because of how slow this drama seemed i decided to increase the speed to 1.5x and its somehow still slow. Its like nothing changed.

This is a really good movie. The twists and turns were really something else. I would definitely rewatch it once I've forgotten some of the plot points.

for that reason it took me forever to watch, but I didn't regret it. Different focus but same feeling. Loved it!
Thanks.
I'll give it a chance

The drama was actually great from the beginning but the final episode felt weird. It was just like every other episode but it fell kind of flat, like a filler episode. But it was still good.
I also wonder if there will be a 2nd season because the way things were left with Lee Tae Ju felt incomplete.

Oh we're definitely in the lover boy era. First, Hyun Woo then Seon Jae then Gwi Jo. And now we have Cha Min and now we have Ji Won. I'm so happy we left the cold/nonchalant male lead era.

I guess she did not but she seems lost. I get that she should be a pro and respect a VIP client. But why is she…
Exactly! Being polite because its her job is one thing but going to see him at his place was not giving at all. And especially after we heard the way the Director talked to Cha Min about Jae Rim like it was all just some game that he intends to win by force.
