I like Xu kai a lot ...but these fans are illiterates ... They don't understand an actor can work with the limit of his character ... In this case the story is horrible so there is no point in feeling offended as Xu kai fan ... Nobody is criticising his work ..story was bogus and even with all his might he can not save it

Esther yu is horrible in whichever drama you watch she is doing the same child act

Esther you was the biggest disappointment . She hardly put any efforts in her character

Ikr !!! The same reason why she couldn't beg any prominent roles after this series.

That was because of the millenium white lotus exilir pearl he took ..which made him extremely resistant against poisons and increased his healing power. It was indirectly mentioned through scenes fron their past ...and more importantly even the FL was saved by the same cause she also took half of that pearl.

What a ridiculous way of criticising a fiction work ... The drama clearly has historical setting and watching it through a lens of modern world ... I mean what's your IQ ?? ... -20?
.. forced sex , violation, harrasment , humiliation etc etc were all part of people's life in ancient world .. there were no courts to safeguard their human rights ...so can you please quit being so dimwit and leave the poor thing alone. You don't even have the basic intellect to understand things.

My opinion is the same ... Xu kai is known to have a very good chemistry with most co-actors but here it is totally missing ... Honestly his over all charm is absent thanks to the melodrama ...
