I can absolutely praise an artist for his performance... but blind worship? Nah, I left that in kindergarten along with believing Santa was real. It’s understandable that some people can’t spot the recycled traits in his period drama roles, not everyone’s running on 120+ IQ, bless their souls. And slandering an artist and their private life? Please, I don’t waste my vocabulary on people I respect. (and he’s one of them)

But the real circus starts when his bitchy fan brigade shows up ~ loud, overbearing, intolerant, and acting like they personally pay his electricity bills. The moment you say something that doesn’t fit their fantasy, they start foaming at the mouth like Wi-Fi-deprived zombies. Ironically, these same clowns are the first to drag him through the mud the second he breathes wrong. Honestly, they should try behaving normal for once.

I wanted Xu kai to do modern action crime thriller since forever, it just that I feel he is better suited for this mix of genre .. I was quite disappointed in his recent picks (of genres) and for being vocal about this , I received a lot of hate and harrassment from his hardcore type fans ... They think speaking your mind out is being hateful towards him ... Bloody dimwits !!!( One doesn't need haters when they have maniac fans like this )... Moreover He and houminghao were the first ever chinese artists i followed on insta, yet With all my respect and love for him I still criticised his repeated pics for the same genre and same shades of roles.

Anyway I am so damn happy he is trying something new after such a long time ... I wish him all the very best for this project

And that whole “you’ll never like a Xu Kai drama” line is so… childish. 🙄 Actors aren’t magic wand...they perform the script they’re given. Just because someone likes Xu Kai doesn’t automatically make every drama he’s in amazing. It’s literally the plot, pacing, and writing that keeps me hooked, not the actor’s face alone.... Saying “Xu Kai drama” like it’s a genre is classic example of cliche fan-girl logic.
Appreciation ≠ blind loyalty. Period.

In China reruns are like reusing old leftovers- doesn’t mean they’re any gourmet or delicacy.... And calling Moonlight Mystique 'PLASTIC'? Please!!!... That drama had more emotional depth in every single scene than BCE managed in all its 37 recycled episodes.
I get it though ~~~ when your favorite show keeps looping, you start thinking repetition equals relevance.But sure.... keep worshipping reruns like they’re gold.. 😏You call it 'taste' .. I call it 'bingeing boredom'.

Now, about BCE... flat, boring, uninspiring, and painfully daily-soap-ish. Even though I adore YZ, no amount of love can defend that timid writing. ALP? A time-leap circus where the ML hides stuff “to protect” the FL...., the classic case of creativity on free-fall.

I like dynamic stories ... ones that actually move. MM the plot has rendezvous around desire stone that keeps new things coming every consecutive episode serving some layers. While Feud showed the struggles of a single woman/ mother in chaotic times (mortal or immortal). Love is Sweet shows A woman thriving in a career everyone said she couldn’t.

So honestly, whether your “taste” matches mine or not.... I couldn’t give one and a half microscopic fucks. I’m perfectly confident in what I like… you should try it sometime.

Haven't seen this one yet but for some reason I feel xu kai has been unable to deliver a decent drama after falling for your smile (though I don't find it decent either ,but atleast the rating were good) ...

I love her so much ever since my journey to you .. then perfect match ... She is bubbly .. smart ..and has impressive role profile for her age ... She reminds me of bai lu when she was her age..same vibe ..same passion and in terms of acting i guess she might even surpass her soon. I wish her all the very best for upcoming projects ..my girl deserves more fame.
