Seen a lot of people say this drama is perfect. And here I was trying to like it to perfection. Could not. (I'm not saying is bad, but definitively not a 10/10). I can say, the whole plot is absurdly good, side characters, side plots, site etc. amazing, but Jung Geum Ja? Arrogant, annoying, senseless, most of the time anyway (epi 1 to 14), she had her moments where I thought "this is it, I'll like her now" only to be ruined by her decisions. It really bothered me the whole drama. If she was like that to who deserved, it would be awesome, but she was arrogant and annoying to every living thing, that ruined for me. I guess the only thing I liked about her character is her hair, the actress is gorgeous with that hair, shoutout to her style in epi 15.
Anyway, I loved how the other characters evolved from complete strangers forced to work with, to friends and almost a justice league. Loved everything about Yoon Hee Je, his plot, his motives, his driven, his way of liking Geum Ja, it was amazing. The cases where interesting, every mid to end case give you hype to binge watch till it is solved. The final villain arc was absolute amazing, Jung Geum Ja FINALLY decided to stay one sided, without annoyances, and making the right decisions, down side? Only 3 episodes like that (14, 15 and 16). It felt like her character took too much to evolve.
As a whole, 8/10 because I unfortunately had to skip her arrogances (a lot), if not for it, would be a 10/10 easy. But do watch, my interpretation of her character is absolutely personal, so it may not bother you at all.

The pace is awfully weird, it felt like a 16 episode drag-on drama. The ending absurdly open-full-of-nothing. I loved Park Eunbi, she's just amazing, but not enough to save the weirdness that the pace of this drama is. There's no concrete relationship in this, everything and everyone is just fluid, no one does what they say they'll do, at the same time, they just do it. Even the most loyal character, is ambiguous, I mean.. There's nothing to hold on to, I honestly felt lost. And then they compressed the ending in a dreamlike 2 minutes utopia where everything is OK, even though the whole drama was about everything NOT OKAY...

From how quickly somethings escalate, it should have been better with less episodes (even if it is only 30 min per episode). The pace is weird, sometimes is engaging, sometimes boring. But thankfully the boring parts are just bits that you can skip and not hurt the story. Also I think that a few characters should have their arcs better explained and better explored.

But that’s how the kdramas were .. especially romcoms And finding that one drama where leads do not break up…
True that.

Here we meet again (2023) Its fairly simple with no overcomplicated third party interruption. Yes, there are suitor…
You got my attention on "Its fairly simple with no overcomplicated third party interruption". I'm getting anoyed at how much "friends/family" try to sabotage and/or intervene in the leads relationship.

Even though it is explicitly writen there "NO BREAKUPS", in Juglers, there is so much anoying things trying to break our leads apart, that is making me anxious, and honestly, quite pissed at everyone who says they are "family" or "friends" of the aforementioned.
