i never sought out to change your opinion, don't worry. i just refuted your claims which i thought were nonsense because some people who haven't watched the show might see these reviews and think that they are the reviews of everyone with a sound mind. i never comment to change anyone's mind cause if your mind sees something any goes a certain direction then its clear what level your mind is at and that cant be changed.

that said, you're right. this page is meant to give positive and negative reviews but another function of this page which makes it different from your diary or an actual review, is that your comment is open for further commentary and review. the moment you try to make your voice known here, others also have the right to comment on you voice, which is what i did and it is totally in line with this site and its setting.

this isn't personal for me, trust me arguing with randos online isn't in anyway personal for me but when i see illogical comments that might mislead others, i will comment and inquire more.

if you don't know whether or not its worth watching and you're just asking to find out, does it mean you haven't watched the drama, aren't sure of the dynamic between the fl and ml but you still decided that their relationship is yucky on this public site where all your posts can be subject to question?

my original point was that she isn't a mother because she doesn't act like one and your answer was that even if she doesn't act like one, she can still be a mother figure because she isn't obliged to be a good mother....this is a clear point that after i pointed out that a good mother wouldn't act the way the fl did and you responded by saying that she doesn't have to be a good mother which i take as you saying she can be the opposite of a good mother. this isn't a misinterpration, this is me interpreting the information you gave to my understanding and then answering accordingly, the same way you also took a drama where the ml never called the fl a mother figure and you decided that she was his mother figure. if you can take liberties with your understanding of things why can't i?

Right? Some people have spent two days bitching about how gross, uncomfortable and yucky it is. Like i never do this. If i dont like a show, you wont hear me ever mension it unless its on reddit or something. Camping out on the comments to express your emotions repeatedly is honestly wild to me

of course i am well aware of my prerogatives...which is why when people put forth their thoughts out of their own prerogatives in a public site where we can comment on each other's words, i used my prerogative to ask genuine questions which they were free to ignore.

so the fl and everyone else around him are 'a bad mother to him'? what? from what we see he also respects the other two fairies and gets along with them. are they also mother figures to him?


so if someone is not acting like someone's mom in a drama then they are still their mother albeit a bad one?

if you watch carefully, the nearest figures where actually the two other chiefs, one who was his teacher and taught him things and the other who dealt with his accounts. he even said somewhere that 'lady fairy' was usually too busy to take walks. So she was not in any way the nearest to him, all three of the 'sisters' were close to him but the chief was definitely not chilling with him the most.

I'm getting worried by the comments saying that the fl was the ml mother...like...is this how your mothers raised you? they ditched you in a different house, gave you training pointers once in a while and billed you for all the expenses you spent, making you literally work from a young age to settle those accounts? those are mothers to you? Wow! I'm scared for the kids of the future generation.

how was she a mother figure though...she was the chief of every single person in that clan and she treated him more orbless than everyone else. Is what she did really the standards of parenting? he even worked for all his things and is in debt for all the things used to take care of him. they never lived together. what motherly thing did she ever do for him i honestly want to know?

murder is also prevalent in society. why aren't people bitching about the murder of innocent people? it's fiction but agegap isn't? make it make sense. how come some 'bad' things in this fictional drama are fictional but others aren't?

For real. Im always shocked to find out there are so many self righteous people in the world. Like why arent they watching Barney and Friends if they are so morally great. There are pple being killed for no reason in almost all cdrama. How come theres no indignation about actual murder? When its murder its fictional but when it comes to people who saw each other a lot during childhood its not so fictional anymore its 'uncomfortable'? How

Yep...the fussybottoms with the whole whining and btchng about unnecesary stuff. and bohoo she raised him blah blah. they are demons and fairies in this drama. how dare pple try to apply their little human 'rules' in this setting were people have fangs.it's obvious she never did anything weird or coerced him in anyway. the reason this doesn't pass in human society is mostly because people are unable to see whether the child was manipulated in any way in order to end up at that point.
