I noticed how he didn't cry as freely (or in front of people) when LX died the first time but from the next week previews...god he looks shattered! He cries while holding Ah Mo in his arms. And that for me is one of the biggest character development. He went from the cold and reserved, mighty God of War in love to just a man deeply in love.
Hats off to Chang Chen for showing us all that. This role was just made for him. I can't imagine anyone else playing JC better. It has been an absolute treat to watch him.
