All is well that ends well. Impressed by the way the ML Tianyu finally broke through his mother's stiff objection to his marriage to the FL. Who would have believed there's soft part to her nature. It was very touching to see her lay her burdened heart and soul on her son's shoulder. And trust Anii who captured the essence of the moment and drew the attention of Grandpa to the sacred, wholesome, bonding moment in time between once fiercely opposing son and mother. As a father, I get it.

Wei Ting, ex-husband of FL, Ruo Yun and their mother are liars and scoundrels. When Tianyu called Weting thrash, I couldn't disagree. He's a spineless, despicable idiot in trousers. Why would he attempt to rape his ex? He should be guillotined.

Xin Xing the FL is ethereal, otherworldly. What a combination of beauty, brain and resilience. She's adroit, diplomatic, courteous and very respectful. There's a whole lot to learn from how she handles every adversity and unsavoury situation without losing her sense of being alive and seeing the beauty in life. I have a strong feeling that she will wade through the storm even if there be a temporary chill in the future in her relationship with Tian Yu the ML. I look forward to the rest of the episodes.

Is the ML a simpleton? Hell, No! There's beauty in simplicity. I like the way he cuts through the chaff/noise to grasp reality in a seemingly simplistic manner. With Waltz, he sees himself being in the same situation as his father was 20 years ago trying to infuse fresh ideas/product into the company with stiff opposition from his grand father. Take the way he absorbed one liners thrown to him by Anni his sister and the FL in scathing dialogues that made him decide to join the family company. He is pure class act.
