Episode 6 had me worried: "Will this show fall into the trap of killing off too many characters?" I wondered. I watched episode 7 with anxiety, but the ending — while messy — turned out pretty well. Overall, it was a great show to watch.
Great show, 2nd to last episode was by far the best and made me want to watch the finale right after, only to get disappointed by the ending...
It felt like they wanted to include too many high impacts developments which made it all feel meaningless...
1. The quite spontaneous sex scene. I understand that Jiwoo and Pildo share similarities in their life, but for me it's quite a stretch to go from completely distrusting Jiwoo, to wanting to have sex with her just from Cha Giho's story. Also, they weren't THAT close to being with
2. Then right after, they kill Pildo, just to slam that in our faces. It makes the sexual scene seem extra forced, just to make the death more impactful
3. Instead of Pildo, Jiwoo should probably have been the one to die, together with Mujin in the final fight. Even without taking into account her injuries, it would've made for a better ending in my opinion. She should be in prison, so I don't know how far into the future we went, but this open ending where Jiwoo is left all alone with nothing at all makes me feel a bit disappointed
