I just fast forwarded the last episodes. Became so generic. So quickly and easily they outsmarted the brother in law...was like a fan fantasy put together which was inrealistic and he got his happy with his obsessive so called love. I started hating the fl and yang caiwei personality...crazy....toxic story...

Yep no morning or thoughts of the princess just that idiot yang caiwei. The princess saved his life sacrificed so much for him and country and i am sure she loved him selflessly. So sad how bad horrible the story turned out. I love the actor who plays the ml. But this this story turned out to be toxix selfish and not about love. But about obsession . Sad had high hopes for the story but alas...unfortunately women who think this is romance will make this series popular

Its so obvious that the brother in law was the person.. you can see the silohette matched him.. i saw it as soon as saw him. This obsession called love is toxic. Its not love anymore. Its obsession with an idea. If he found yang cawei in the biggining and she was a bad person. He would still marry her because he made a promise or has fantasies of his childhood. If it was realky shangguan who had changed . Then he had fallen with love with another person which he originally did and beating himself up over. And yang cawei is mot a midel of virtue. She came back did not believe or trust him and was hell bent on revenge...sorry this sick...only women would find this romantic. When he threathened to kill his father...fir a lady...then the obsession has gone to far and the show was ruined. I like the princess. In the few moments she has been around has shown more virtue and character than yang cawei. Obsession is not love!

My friend if you want to creat something new . Do not market it as vague ties to ALP to get people tp watch. Alp built a world a nd characters and there is context to yuemi snd tianqi . Not this travesty. Same with tli ...that was absolute garbarge. Especially just making 2 true gods. The nonsense hear is anazing. Tianqi is not even a true god here and seems regated to a demon lord amongst other demon lords. Yuemi is wanting to immortal not a god. The world building znd context given to situations and motivations is not there. The character depth is not there. This junk is selling vague references to ALP and bai lu prettyness. In my opinion she is scrawny...and i would not recommend waycjing this. If the marketed it a totally new idea and story i might have thought of watching it but watching alp and then seeing this will be a travesty if you want to vaguely link it and then not have have any of the context world building and character depth that the original novel as sequel had to alp.

Well if its not about Tianqi and linked to ALP and some different story but using that vague reference to pull viewers in. Then i am out. Its going to be cra#!
