I didn’t mean a rape scene by both I heard a spoiler somewhere that YL raped her and XN didn’t do much to stop it so he was basically a bystander. And I judged those characters based off that spoiler since I was like *I ship her with all 3* but the past lives made me judge the other two because in my opinion no matter what she did to them I believe no women deserves to go through that. which was why I asked this question since my opinion of them was flawed in a way. Plus I watched the later episodes I noticed my thinking was maybe wrong which was why I wanted to know if those spoilers were based off the novel or were they deleted bc that actor is banned. Sorry if my question was too confusing. I had a question at first but I added in my opinions in the end so it got a bit confusing.

You kind of did! Like who cares about a characters name? The spelling didn’t even have anything to do with my question. I look at the character profiles often and I still cannot for the life of me remember their names or the spelling let along a character. I am not done with the drama yet so ofc I had a questions. Yah it’s unfortunate he seems to be the best person out of the three but they don’t have much chemistry which is sad.

Yah she seems to have the most chemistry with the first male lead and they do seem to have a lot in common I agree.

Oh I was curious because I assumed that he raped her but she came on to XW and he went off on her in some sort telling her YL is always at her place and ZZ is in jail bc of her and he in a way rejected her advances which gave me a different view to the spoilers I’ve been hearing. Maybe she was raped at first or not but that did give me a bad view on the first and third leads.

I did not read the novel which was why I was asking for spoilers based off the novel for those who watched it. They barely showed much about that actor so I was wondering what they showed on the novel and the show. I can ask that if I want I don’t understand why you’re trying to restrict people. And I understand that novels and adoptions are different at times which was why I asked because I wanted to know what I haven’t seen in the show.

I have a question did Yan lan rape female lead or did she try to “seduce him” to stay alive. At first I thought he raped her but on episode 31 they showed the past scene and the male lead mention how Yan lan basically lives at her palace which threw me off. I know the actor who plays Yan Lan is censured so I’m wondering if the people who watched the novel know. I also wonder if we’d get more past scenes or scenes in general of the actor if he wasn’t censured.

On a different note when I put the 3 male leads together thats why I can’t help but root for the second male lead instead of the first and third male leads. Idk I get that she did them wrong but personally speaking it’s not like her and Yan lab were dating? Yes she was mean for betraying him as a friend when he needed her the most is a horrible thing to do but if he really raped her in the past life I really can’t root for him nor can I root for the first male lead for that reason. Like in the present time I’m always weighting who’s the best out of the three and they all have their downsides but I just feel like ZZ stayed consistent throughout. I guess he’s too selfless no wonder the female lead wanted to bag him. I agree that she has the most chemistry with the first male lead and I am shipping but I’m just always so conflicted by the past life actions 😪

It’s not like I dislike the other two if anything I think I became a fan of the first male lead 🫢 desperately searching for his other dramas but nothing comes close to this one sad.

I feel like the guy who gives information to Namsoon’s mom is Ryu Si shi oh’s friend who separated from him when he was 10. For some reason that friend keeps getting mentioned and I just have this weird feeling that the friend escaped and shi ho was captured.

Another thing is I feel like the grandmother’s boyfriend is peval. I just find him so sus like he randomly came into their lives and I just can’t help but find his suspicious. The episode with him getting scammed with the AL video call with his daughter just seemed forced and planned to me. They did mention that pevel is in Korea so just a thought I’ve been having after episode 12

One thing I’ve been noticing on the comments is that everyone has something against Kang Namsoon and I just don’t understand. Like why is everyone making it seem like it’s her responsibility to “save” the SML. I feel for the guy I really do and I get it he’s FIIIINEEEEEE🥵 but I always snap back to reality everytime I see how he acts. Like he’s a very unfortunate character he’s been through a lot and society has failed him but an episode that really made me have this opinion was on episode 12 where namsoon was waiting in the office he left for a bit to the basement and he killed someone and went back in the room and smiled at her as if nothing happened. Like that’s the kind of life style he lives in and he has no plans on changing and I get it he can’t change even if he wanted to since he has to be tough to like stay alive since he may be deemed useless if he doesn’t get stronger but my opinion still stands. I feel bad for him but I don’t get why people are coming for her she’s not his savior. It sucks that she had to lie to him but at the end of the day people are dying because of the drugs they’re distributing and I can see why namsoon wants to go after him and the final boss to stop this whole mess. I will definitely be heartbroken to see his end. I have a feeling they’ll just kill him off and give him a last minute “redemption” like I’m simping for him too but dang a girl gotta stay in reality 😂 he’s past being a red flag level he’s just a criminal flag lord😂 at some point I was like if she sticks with him they might go to jail hand in hand 😂😂😂 for some reason I can’t help but think about the famous voice meme “that’s mine and ama stand beside him” y’all really tryna throw my girl namsoon in a ditch 😂😂😂

On another note I completely fell in love with the second male lead and I hope we can see him as a main lead in his next drama. He’s literally the reason this drama is still watchable I get that for sure. But I’m enjoying this show 🫢 I get it it’s not as good as the first one but it’s not too bad.

I enjoyed ruyi but after I watched Yanxi I don’t mention ruyi much but it’s actually one of the few cdramas I watched while it was airing since I usually binge watch them after they’re over. I also watched zen huan too but I skipped a lot of episodes since it’s an old drama but I love the herem/drama/love triangles/ strong women themes. Thank you for the recommendations.

I watched scent of time and I enjoyed it I usually drop some dramas after a few episodes if I don’t like it but I watched that one with out stopping.

I haven’t seen much of ZLH dramas I’ll check out the ones you recommended.

I went through the list for 2023 historical cdramas and
I’ve only finished destined, The Legend of Zhuohua, Till the End of the Moon. Those were the only 2023 cdramas I didn’t skip after a few episodes. I did watch other historicals as well but it’s hard to find one that’s well made.

I’m currently on episode 15 and I wanted a spoiler for the Yan family so far for the episodes that aired so far. What exactly happened to their family after episode 15? I wanted a spoiler to keep going and if anyone read the novel spoilers would be appreciated. I won’t add the spoiler tag since it’s a known fact the yan family could fall into danger but those who reply can.

Also recommendations for dramas like this would be appreciated. I loved Yanxi palace and the story of minglan and I feel like this is the only historical that gave me the same *feels* as those two shows. It’s hard to find shows that follow in those footsteps.

So based on the current Aired episodes I noticed there are a few different things…

The grandmother on the ML side was a granpa in the webtoon

The way the female lead died was different… the female in the webtoon died while crossing the street after finding her sister and husband confessing

The way the female lead was adopted was different. In the webtoon the female lead was adopted by the previous wife of the chairman and then the second wife *female leads stepmom* came in the picture along with the her toddler daughter..

Which is why I feel like the mom paid off the fortune teller with the whole story about the female lead being adopted for bad karma … maybe they’re trying to imply something for this on why the grandpa wanted to adopt the female lead… I wonder why he would adopt his granddaughter and not tell her… or maybe he find out at a later time.

Also the grandad on the female lead side in the webtoon was not being threatened and locked up by the mom in the webtoon he actually had the most power but he was in coma or something… I don’t remember exactly what but he wasn’t able to move freely

There’s also a key point in the female lead talking about being poisoned🫢 in the webtoon the mom was 🫢🫢 poisoning everyone 😂🫢

I noticed some differences throughout but it’s interesting to compare tbh

I want to ask for a spoiler does the male lead’s brother really die? If so what episode? And does he come back as flashback throughout the drama? I found the fact that his brother dies really sad since we were told in the synopsis on another website 😭😪 Thank you in advance.

Hey guys I’ve been spoiling the show for myself but I’m waiting for it to end in order to watch it properly so I’ve been only seen 1-3 random episodes. I had a question about the uncle and “his love interest” I’m not completely aware of what’s going on but it seemed like she’s trying to scam the first brother couple by donating her “ husband’s sperm” what’s up with that couple ? Can anyone tell me. I’m so confused since I’m not sure if she’s a bad character or not.
