The second leads has no story, no development, too little screen time, not sure why they put those roles as main 😂. While the main leads' story is too simple, developed so fast, childish. A bad drama for me.

I tried to watch (actually rewind) it to the end because of curiosity. It is boring till the end. What they want is to honour China billiards teams combined with a love story but in a forced way. I think Korean modern dramas are still much better.

Half way means 20 episodes? They did not fall in love yet, they might like each other but kept it inside. Remember that this whole drama's time is within one year from they met until he went to fight for his country. At episode 20, it was just several months, what do you expect? I understand it is an own opinion but this drama is not for you for sure.

What a review in haste. I find the leads doing a great job. Beauty is a standard in Chinese ancient dramas and while keeping beautiful, they can still deliver wonderful actings here. Not sure what kind of ugliness you want them to perform but yes individual viewpoint is okay.

They do not need to have much time together but I agree they should have given ML more screen time. I guess he was not famous enough before this drama hence he accepted little screen time. Surprisingly he did not need much screen time to be famous then.
