Agreed, his predicament he is in....also I don't agree with the whole weak concept because tbh I think it's anything but. His dad was super easy to manipulate and he knows that. Therefore the whole Go Game scene where the white tokens started turning green as he is working through all these ministers getting them to his side...which takes time! Also he can't kill ezpz because that would cause them to dispose him...
But also we have yet to hear him talk about how he wants to rule particularly because all I have seen is him trying to take control of the court, and that's about it...that could just be me feeling this way

I truly hope this drama does not take a nosedive, so far I think it is doing pretty well since its not a romance focus but a revenge/power-struggle focused

Case: I too dropped it after the first episode, but then I saw a comment on Instagram something about how the female lead, Kang Ha Na, is absolutely killing it. Even though you might think the lead male might act weak in places, watch it for the Badass FL...truly I came back for her and I just am glad that I did. Because most of the times you will see the ML, especially in a period drama, being so strong with other supporting characters...but this show, so far, the FL shines so well -- I read somewhere that ML is weak, but tbh I get his predicament~ So go have a watch for a badass woman <3

Also, the villain, you can't properly hate him - or well I can't - because you sort of also get where his thought process is stemming from, so A+ for the storywriting so far

Bruh. The ML does but loses like most of his life with only 10 years left (its in the show) but stILL WHY...WHY THE DRAMA IN THE END OF THE WHOLE DAMN SHOW????? ~ i question

Also....probably just me trying to see if they had kids and just being utterly disappointed...
All in all very good drama...just the ending irks me what can I say...AAA

Edit: Also I had sometime to think in the almighty shower. How was it that Yu was this big bum genius had everything planned to the T and the was the only one at the end standing to fight off the 3 most strongest characters in the damn show..? The ending is a no from me, otherwise the show is a big Yes.

This show is something I would put next to shows like Miss Hamurabi....discussing such important issues that our generation is going through, through a fantasy plotline...what even, I am amazed

100% It hits on common issues in our society in such a cool plotline method
