Rewatching the show but can someone please tell me why the other co-workers in the Technology Department are soo…
I think the reason why they act like that is because Xu Yanshi is like the only good thing about that place. Compared to the director and general manager, he is the most competent plus he treats them right. He knows their capabilities and encourage them to better by being a credible and hardworking person. They all know XYS was too good to be at that place and they might be better off working at another company who isn’t about to be closed down but they stay because they want to learn from him and like him as a boss and as a person.

I enjoyed the first 10 epiosdes of the drama, if you like youthful, 90s themed cdramas you might enjoy it too. I liked the ML’s character, he’s very much a silly teenage boy full of quirks. Stubborn but is very caring to his friends and the FL. It’s refreshing from the rampant cold ml in cdramas. Shiyi actually has a personality and knows how to express emotions.

I also liked the FL, she’s cheerful, feisty, and adorable, hard working and knows how to stand her ground. She gets the unfavorite eldest child treatment from her mother and I felt so bad for her.

Their bickering dynamic is adorable. They’re much like frenemies who cares for each other. However, the story just dragged FL’s crush on the 2nd ML and the 1st ML was definitely being taken for granted and ignored by the FL (romantically). It pissed me off because they never really had a proper time together. If you read other comments you’ll know more. I just wish the FL show more signs that she actually liked the ML too. He patiently waited for her while she was pining for the 2ML (his best friend mind you) and she just doesn’t appreciate him. Their development from enemies to lovers is very underwhelming.

This is the original, is it the best version ??
For me yes. I’ve tried watching the korean and japanese remakes, although I love friends to lovers so much, I ended up dropping both for lack of chemistry for the korean ver and being dragged and filled with unnecessary angst for the japanese one. This by far is the best. Their chemistry is no joke and even though the ex coming back plot line was frustrating, I still loved this.

This movie made me cry so much but it's also now one of my favorite romance movies. At the beginning, I was smiling…
I like your review. I just have some points I’d like to share for discussion.

After Mugi “proposed” to Kinu, she thought “how could you propose to someone you haven’t had s*x with for 3 months”. She was being neglected. How can marriage enter Kinu’s mind when her basic needs from their relationship isn’t even being given? I totally respect that Mugi had to mature and focus on his career but I also can’t blame Kinu for staying the same because there is nothing wrong with that. You don’t have to lose your interests and essentially yourself to “grow up”. They had different things in mind and no longer care enough about each other to compromise.

And, Mugi also wanted to break up, he said that out lout to his friend after the wedding. They were both planning to break up with each other, but I guess Mugi wanted to hold on to what they had after looking at their old pictures on the restaurant. But marriage is not gonna fix an already broken relationship. It might even make it worse.

That scene with the reflection of the younger them also made me cry a lot. It was an eye opener for the both of them, of what they once had compared to the glaring situation of their relationship at that time. It was bittersweet.

I love your interpretation of the film’s title, it gives it so much more significance. At the end I think it was for the best that they went their separate ways, and their memories will remain like a beautiful bouquet that they once made.

They definitely did try. Mugi went from a happy go lucky person to a person who concentrated seriously in his…
To be fair they both did not try hard enough to make the relationship work. They neglected each other’s needs, and did not communicate. Mugi could’ve still made time for Kinu even when he’s busy, he could’ve shown a tiny bit of enthusiasm with things they used to like doing, while Kinu could’ve talked about feeling neglected and tried to comfort Mugi when he was mourning his friend but they both didn’t. They stopped caring about each other. At some point they looked as if they were just strangers living together.
