The stylist for Chang Lei deserves a raise because he looks extra fine in this drama, especially in black hanfu with rolled up sleeves and that mask with gray hair is so hot, too.
Bro she's a general who went to save her kidnapped brother and for some reason she only brought her bow and no sword ? And where did all the soldiers suddenly disappear to? They were supposed to capture the bandits or at least fight with them, but it was her alone against those bandits until our superhero ML showed up.
I finally watched the last 4 episodes I wasn't able to watch before, and I'm so disappointed. This drama started off so good, it pulled me outta my long K-drams slump, but the story fell flat after the introduction of bong su. The character was fun no doubt, however I feel like they stretched his arc for way too long. Yeomhwa was the worst part of the drama. Her character wasn't even necessary, and until the end she remained useless. I don't understand why spirit mother sacrificed herself for this witch. She didn't feel an ounce of remorse for her horrible actions. Also, did they show her back story on how she went from a sweet girl to this horrible evil witch? Because i don't remember anything about it.
I loveeee Lee jong suk and he always has such sizzling chemistry with all of his Co-stars, but here i feel kinda uncomfortable when they are lovey dovey, even if it's so subtle and low-key.
I hope the makeup doesnt make her look to feminine, but realistic enough to be "disguised as a male".Like…
Omg you are so right!!!! Even coroner's diary everyone was referring to qin wen as 'he', but she looked as gorgeous as a lady. Didn't make no sense to me.
This was so emotionally draining and tragically beautiful, I loved it so much. I was a sobbing mess the entire time. Kudos to the entire team, especially Lin yi for delivering such a soul crushing performance. The only thing i didn't like in this drama was the character of He xindi. So obnoxious and immature. Idk why guapo would even like her. She literally had little to no character development.
