Light and enjoyable watch but not very memorable!

I enjoyed this drama, but the story felt very rushed and abrupt at some point. Maybe it was because they had sqeeze in the episodes, which had a negative impact on the overall outcome of the drama.
I really loved the simple and cheery personality of wei zhi. Though she was a bit too forgiving ( could never be me).
Loved shan Chong too, and thank God he wasn't the typical cold ML. The relationship was quite mature and pleasant. The breakup also felt reasonable unlike most break ups in dramas. But the progression of the story felt a bit choppy. The side characters also felt out of place some times, again probably because of the short number of episodes.
Yan and jiang's relationship could've progressed better, too.
This had potential to be a great watch if they didn't sabotaged it condensing the number of episodes.

An underrated masterpiece that deserves to be watched by everyone!!

I won’t promise a spoiler-free review, so read at your own risk.

To be completely honest, I didn’t understand most of it. What exactly were the 36 Thieves? Who were the 8 Supremes, and where did they even come from? Why did Zhang Chulan’s grandfather collude with the Sinister Pleasures? I have no clue. And then there’s Feng Baobao—where did she come from? I know who her father is, but how did he become the leader of the Sinister Pleasures? And why hasn’t she aged? How long has she been around? She looks exactly the same.

But despite all the confusion, this drama was an absolute masterpiece. I enjoyed every single moment. The comedy timing was chef's kiss. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, and every character was incredible. I loved it. Wang Ye was my favorite—his personality is just top-tier. I also really liked Zhang chulan, Feng Baobao , Xu Si, Xu San, and so many others that I can’t even name them all. Xiaohei was amazing too—so pretty and badass. I loved her. I loved all of it.

Best 2024 kdrama !

It delivered exactly what it promised. A ruthless demon judge from hell punished criminals in the most satisfying way possible.
The storyline of this drama is unique and well written/delivered.
I started this drama without much expectations since dramas this year were disappointing and left me in a kdrama slump but judge from hell exceeded my expectations and completely won me over with a captivating storyline and great performance by the actors .
The concept if punishing criminals in the same way they tortured their victims was so satisfying to watch . Applaud to the writer(s) for this masterpiece.
Park shin hye as Kan bitna was a delight to watch . Her character was so refreshing and likeable until the very end .
Kim jae young as Han da on , al tho was a bit annoying at the beginning but his character development was so good that i fell in love with him later on . Also he’s so gorgeous and his smile is so pretty .

A solid 10/10 from me because it was a treat to watch this drama and each episode was interesting and better so I don’t see the point of giving it any less rating than this.

Something different yet not so unique

When i usually start a mini drama, i try to keep my expectations as low as possible because let's be honest these mini dramas are only here to help us pass time, but for this one i had high expectations after watching the first few episodes. It was something different and refreshing.

The FML wasn't the typical damsel in distress who can't utter a word in her defence when somebody wrongs her, she was head strong and out going. She spoke her mind, had her goals and was likeable.
The ML was also not the typical rude cold jerk even after going through a rough patch in his life. He was very sweet and firm when needed.
The chemistry was chemistrying. They were very cute together and loved their relationship buildup. Though the FML took way too long to confess, but it worked out.

This was surprisingly a good drama before it all went down. First of all, I'm sick and tired of "second female leads who wouldn't take 'no' for an answer, but the second male leads will always be very understanding and easy going." Why can't writers come up with better plot device? Why is it always the female second lead stirring up trouble for the leads?

Honestly the second lead couple had better development in their story. They were so cute omggg.

The last 3 episodes were total disaster. For a short length drama, why did they have to complicat it so much? The ending—rushed, not satisfying, hence the rating.

The person who was in charge of the OST department rocked.

Wasted potential.

In my very unbiased and honest opinion, this had the potential to be my next comfort drama after TBT, but the casting director and the scriptwriter fumbled so hard. The storyline was simple, fun, and lighthearted—right up my alley—but the execution is where it fell flat. What could’ve been a nice watch ended up feeling more like a typical drama. I wouldn’t say I disliked it because I did watch it until the end (which is pretty rare for me these days), but it definitely could’ve been a lot better.

The first seven episodes set the mood for a fun and exciting ride, but soon it lost its charm. The pace was fine, except for a few abruptly edited scenes. The leads, in the beginning, were cute, and their interactions were fun. But I think there were a lot of inconsistencies in the main characters—especially the FML. Her character was a bit odd at times. I failed to understand why she kept rejecting the idea of dating him while actively flirting with him. She didn’t seem to care about any of the people around her—be it her dad, BFF, or Chen Louzuo.
I get that she was supposed to be closed off, but there was no character development.

On the other hand, WAY nailed Chen Louzuo. The character itself was a green flag. I loved the way he looked at her—you could tell this man saw her as the love of his life, unlike her. Their relationship was basically 80% and 20%.

If we talk about the romance part (which is pretty much the whole concept of the drama), it was more cute than passionate—as the title suggested it would be. I didn’t mind that, except the badly edited fake kissing scenes made me cringe, and all the talk about their “passionate love” gave me secondhand embarrassment. I get the frustration of people who enjoy watching intimate scenes, but even as someone who really enjoys hugs and gentle love, they failed in that aspect too.
That said, the chemistry was swoon-worthy—though the lack of skinship drove me nuts.
The blame os entirely on the casting director for choosing an actress who doesn't intimate scenes for a drama that 1only required that. I love LHC, but this role should've been given to someone else. WAY carried the drama on his back.

The proposal was so cute, but I wish they had shown their wedding instead of that low-budget photoshoot.

I really liked Zhou Yanqi’s character. I wish we had seen more of him and Cai Yinying. They robbed us of their romance—I was waiting for a confession, but it never happened.

The ending wasn’t satisfying enough.
The OSTs were the best part of the drama.

Overall, it seems like I criticised this drama a lot—but I didn’t dislike it, and I’d still recommend it if you’re in the mood for a non-toxic drama without any evil characters.

A refreshing and wholesome youth drama with the greenest flag characters.

I finally finished watching it, and now I'm sad. I didn't think i'd love this drama so much. The storyline was so refreshing and sweet. The main three characters ' song cong, jing xichi, and chen huan' er' are three of the best characters I've ever seen. They all had distinct personalities but somehow they fit each other so well.
I really enjoyed watching their journey from high schoolers to working life.
The relationship b/w xichi and huan'er is one of the best in C-dramas. Their chemistry was so natural, the way they supported e/o through everything was truly a treat to watch.
I wished song cong would end up with du man. They had great chemistry.
Overall, they delivered everything and ended on a very good note.

Cute and interesting storyline .

I was not planning to watch this drama but since I didn’t have anything to watch and i had already caught up on my already on going dramas , i decided to give it a go and to my surprise, i ended up loving it so much that i binge watched all the 9 episodes today .
The storyline is so cute and funny yet so interesting.
Esther yu is killing this role . I love her character so much . Ryan is doing so well too as always .
I hope they show us the modern world too after she completes the ancient game . And i‘m guessing mu sheng is the author of this poorly written story .
