Exactly! What else can we expect from a male centred audience. Why should she be blamed for his unhealthy jealousy? He should work on it himself and has he ever communicated his feelings?Like do they expect her to read his mind or smth?? The audience has annoyed more than Luke at this point.

It's baffling how some people still find a way to blame Flora when clearly LUKE is the bigger problem. She has repeatedly told him about SYZ being one of her closest friends, but he still refuses to listen to her and jumps on every opportunity to belittle her, insult her and this time he went as far as to accuse her of cheating. How disgusting!

STFU. When has he ever trusted her? Just take today's episode as an example ; Flora has constantly told him that SYZ is her best friend and she holds him dearly in her heart because he's one the first people she made friends in Beijing, but his thick head won't get it. He jumped on the opportunity to accuse her of having an affair with him based on his insecurity and projection. Y'all are so male-centered, it's sickening.

I thought knowing in advance about his death wouldn't have a deeper impact on me because I had already shed a fair share of my tears in the novel, but who would've thought that as soon as he appeared on screen I'd burst into tears. My head hurts😭 I cried the entire episode, it was so devastating.

This is what I thought so too, but they really did both of them dirty. And she said the 27 months with you were the happiest, I didn't even think they lasted for that long.
They could've definitely come up with a better way to make the FML realize her feelings, instead of killing him.

That’s what I noticed too in today’s episodes mostly. Lu ming dying out of nowhere, Sixian sitting in Mingyu’s home eating strawberries and I’m sure there were more sloppy scenes.

Yes! They watered down his characters so much, but they didn’t alter Flora’s character at all. That’s why some of her actions seem extreme and abrupt.

But Flora’s motives no longer feel logical and cohesive. She’s coming off as an ungrateful brat and people are calling her a red flag. I personally think I would’ve been hella confused had I not read the novel because the drama jumps from one scene to another without any explanations and it sometime feels abrupt.

I feel like Tao Tao’s character wasn't modified very well for the drama. In the novel, Luke is a major red flag; he doesn't really view her as his girlfriend, they’re basically just friends with benefits who don't even cuddle outside of sex. So, it makes sense that Flora doesn't feel comfortable sharing certain things with him, introducing him as her boyfriend, or fully committing to the relationship. But in the drama, they tweaked Luke’s personality, he’s more open, gentler, and actually acknowledges her as his girlfriend yet they didn't adjust Tao Tao’s reactions to match this new version of him. She still reacts as if he were the Luke from the book, which doesn't make sense. Consequently, *she* ends up being the one who looks like a red flag, because her behaviour becomes hard to understand.

He gets really jealous of sun yuanzho when he's crying on her shoulder when his mother passed away and talks shit about them. Then a lot of misunderstanding and miss communication from both of them, then sun yuanzho committing suicide had a bigger blow on her as she sees him jumping off the building then the new girl getting promoted instead of her who worked in the northwest for 14 months. She thinks he's one the judges who gave low marking despite her efforts and he also doesn't explain so she says she wants to end this filthy, ugly relationship and he says once you walk out we're over and she does.
