Title Night Has Come Spoiler
One thing that really bugged me about was how Kyungjun seemed to randomly back down and listen to Yoonseo several times throughout the show. Like, there was zero backstory and connection shown between them, so it felt totally unbelievable. I was wondering what the writers were trying to pull off there until I stumbled upon all these TikTok edits shipping Kyungjun and Yoonseo, and it hit me: maybe the writers were aiming for that whole "bad boy falls for the quiet girl" uwu chemistry vibe. But it felt so out of the blue and forced. If they wanted Kyungjun to back off, they should've handled it differently. Maybe keep Hyunho alive longer he seemed like the only one who could stand up to Kyungjun. Or better yet, make Dabeom the one who could sway Kyungjun. Imagine if Kyungjun had a thing for Dabeom or something, and that's why he blackmailed him and forced him to spread that video of Se Eun. It might sound wild, but it could've made more sense than what actually played out. At least with Dabeom and Kyungjun, there's some kind of obvious backstory and connection between them. But with Yoonseo, it was like she went from being this quiet, unpopular girl to suddenly having the bully listen to her. Directors should stop making their female lead seems special.
