Title Night Has Come Spoiler
One thing that really bugged me about was how Kyungjun seemed to randomly back down and listen to Yoonseo several times throughout the show. Like, there was zero backstory and connection shown between them, so it felt totally unbelievable. I was wondering what the writers were trying to pull off there until I stumbled upon all these TikTok edits shipping Kyungjun and Yoonseo, and it hit me: maybe the writers were aiming for that whole "bad boy falls for the quiet girl" uwu chemistry vibe. But it felt so out of the blue and forced. If they wanted Kyungjun to back off, they should've handled it differently. Maybe keep Hyunho alive longer he seemed like the only one who could stand up to Kyungjun. Or better yet, make Dabeom the one who could sway Kyungjun. Imagine if Kyungjun had a thing for Dabeom or something, and that's why he blackmailed him and forced him to spread that video of Se Eun. It might sound wild, but it could've made more sense than what actually played out. At least with Dabeom and Kyungjun, there's some kind of obvious backstory and connection between them. But with Yoonseo, it was like she went from being this quiet, unpopular girl to suddenly having the bully listen to her. Directors should stop making their female lead seems special.

You know what, Kyungjun should have been the police, not just a regular citizen. It also explains why he was so confident about Wooram being mafia and that explain how he could wake up in the middle of the night? He would've been way better off as police than Nahee, who only became useful in the last few episodes since he is smarter than her. She had to reveal her role to everyone because she was cornered by Somi. She got Somi voted out but then didn't hide properly she chose the most obvious hideout ever. Of course, the mafia would search the CR first since Dabeom hid there the previous round with her. The writers should've stuck to the traditional mafia game rules, with the police waking up first to use their powers. Mafia should only wake up after the police and doctor have used their abilities. It was so inconsistent when everyone, including the mafia, fell asleep after hearing the bell on the first and second days, but by the fifth day, it’s revealed they can stay awake hearing the bell. If they gonna gonna mess it up at least be consistent about it.

The characters needed a massive IQ boost. It felt like there were hardly any smart ones in the bunch, and The so-called "smart" students often ended up being mafia. Take nerds like Dabeom, Jungwoon, and Joowon they all turned out to be mafia. On the flip side, the roles of doctor and police, which are crucial and should be held by competent individuals, ended up in the hands of the dumbest characters. It's a bit ironic and frustrating because these roles are so important yet they literally messed it up. And to add insult to injury, the writers decided to shake things up by giving the police and doctor abilities a cooldown of 48 hours. If you're going to give the most important roles to characters who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, don't handicap them even more with these limitations. Nahee and Yoojoon, the police and doctor. What did they even do? They each did one thing and then bit the dust.

The biggest gripe I have with this drama is the episode length. Why on earth are they only 30 minutes each? With such a complex storyline and so many characters, it felt like everything was rushed. They should have extended each episode to an hour and added more episodes, maybe 16 in total. This would have allowed for more in-depth storytelling, fleshing out characters, and properly developing plot points without everything feeling crammed in. Take Seeun, for example. Her character is pivotal to the entire storyline, yet we barely scratch the surface of who she really is. A dedicated flashback episode could have brought her to life, showing us how she was bullied, who did it, and for how long. We needed to see her suffering firsthand to truly understand the depth of her pain and isolation. The game that forms the core of the drama stemmed from what happened to her, but the show fails to give us enough insight into her life and struggles. It would have been more believable if they showed months of her growing despair and loneliness instead of just a quick glimpse of her finding out and the same day died. The impact on Seeun's mental state, and how it intensified her suffering. Showing her being sexually harassed by male characters maybe would have highlighted the relentless pressure she faced. If they had dug deeper into Se Eun's story, viewers might've actually cared more about her tragic fate. I ended up caring more for Jungwon, that AI character who's supposed to represent her. At least they gave her some depth and screen time to make us connect compared to Seeun.

Very shitty show they should have follow the Webtoon where FL end up with some body instead but Song Kang fans probably gonna get furious by it . Trash ml 🗑️. Luckily the director make a one good decision creating this Sol x Jiwan because where the heck is that in the Webtoon . Those two are the reason why I watched this completely and rates this show too high .

Also ngl the asshole man is more hot than the ml. No shad but directors should have pick hotter ml like kdrama industry doesn't lack hot actor with good acting skills

I love this kdrama but they should have filmed before the FL go diet just so you could really see the difference between sick fl and now. Sick FL should be skinner not same weight. You know what I mean the details.
The writing felt super rushed, cramming everything into just 12 episodes . Why not stick with 16 like the first season? And don't even get me started on how they butchered Saya's character. He was so smart in Season 1, but now they make him look dumb just to prop up Eunseom. It's frustrating! Just because Eunsoem the main character
