Oh I see what you mean now! Maybe it was possible because her soul belonged to Mephi so he just placed it back into her corpse to revive her? Dang, I didn't know the actor didn't renew his contract though... that's a shame because looking at the viewership ratings, a season 3 is definitely possible!

Actually in that last scene it was Ross that had the tattoo. My guess is that Ross probably made a deal with the same demon in order to bring his sister back. The sad part is that his tattoo is almost a full circle, meaning his deal is probably his soul for only that final year together :'(. If they do have another season, I hope that Ma Kwai can team up with them to defeat that demon!
