Yeah, the chemistry is definitely not there 😭 Suzuki is so much more likable in the manga, but the actor’s portrayal makes him insufferable here. His acting keeps pulling me out of the scene, and I’m trying so hard to stay invested. Ughhh, a different casting choice could’ve done wonders. Manga Suzuki, I’m sorry they did you like this 😭

I agree with all your points. I’ve been trying to give this one a chance since everyone seems to like it, but I just can’t with the uke. They’ve made him so childish and given him no backbone. I can’t help but compare it to School Trip since the premises are so similar (both have that Boys Over Flowers vibe). But I cant help but find Suzuki insufferable, whereas Hioki has more personality, which makes him much more likable.

Will this movie be available right away internationally on Oct 28😭?
