I'd say its because of her undertraining, she is strong and agile and has got her own technique after being taught by her father, we dont know how much training she received as a child but I am definitely not expecting she was trained by her father for the battlegrounds like Xie Zheng was trained as a child. Now coming back to her being agile, her close combat style is not something ppl on the field are expecting, I think she was able to beat Shi Hu coz she targeted the arms instead of the Vital spots and then hit the Vital spot, She was able to access the hands coz she is smaller and swift.

after that chang yu killing shi hu, it feels like the show has gotten too slow, too many fillers

I see, thank you for your insights.... I just have heard it's a really good show before and it has been on my PTW since forever, but when I started watching the low quality specs made me wonder if it's simply overhyped, now that I hear such detailed praises, I think i will continue watching and see how it goes....
