I like the leads and another thing that I like is that they casted two actors from my country ( Ejay Falcon and Lauren Young from the Philippines). I'm hoping that this will be good.
Such a high score for such a regular rom-com drama. It's far from bad and it's quite enjoyable but it's just a standard rom-com drama. Also, is it just me or is Park Seo Joon always having these kind of roles?
The two who wrote reviews already are obviously fans of Suho. I don't think this drama is anything great. It's watchable but it's just another cliche romcom drama although I liked the Japanese version.
I hope Edogawa gets a moment where she gets to punish all the evil people in this drama (in a righteous way of course) because they are seriously making my blood boil. It would be interesting to see her go all Carrie on them but that would probably be impossible hahaha. Airi should be in an asylum.
Nowadays, most dramas are available in HD though (at least those that are made by ABS-CBN).
ABS-CBN and GMA shoots their dramas in 1080p actually. They just broadcast it in 480p because not all homes have televisions that can handle that quality. In cable, they actually have a channel called ABS-CBN HD. Also, most ABS-CBN dramas have better cinematography than GMA imo. GMA have great story concepts but the aesthetics of some of their dramas are so 2005.
In my opinion, Pure Love is probably the best adaptation out of all of these. It captured the good things about the original and was really well-directed.
But what can I do when there are still a lot of Filipinos (especially the ahjummas and ahjussis) who love watching it.
