It's still really good so far. The new characters are interesting and the new Eun Jae is doing fine. I have to commend the writer for being consistent. Now I hope that this will continue up until the final episode.
I wanted to attend the wedding so bad. I love the scene where the parents were walking in slow-mo and the BGM was 2NE1's "I Am The Best". I also love when they danced to Bruno Mars' "Marry You".
why couldnt they just add the new character instead of changing the actress
FUCK
The original actress was supposed to play the character again but she dropped out in the last minute due to scheduling conflicts with her new movie. The script was probably written already so they had no choice but to cast a different actress.
I would of prefer if they had not added Eun Jae character than adding a new actress to play hers. One mayor thing…
Well, Park Hye Soo was supposed to be the one playing Eun Jae again but she decided to leave because she was casted in a movie. The script was already written so I guess they had no choice but to just replace the actress.
So far, this is still a really strong family drama. It deals with a lot of issues but it isn't hard to digest because the writers infuse it with comedy and it's just so engaging even if the Earth-Jang storyline isn't really moving that much.
They really feel like a family and I love the dynamics. I guess the writers are already masters of these kinds of stories.
I'm still giving this a chance despite the casting changes. The first one was a sleeper hit and I'm still hoping that the writer can do well for this sequel. I will miss the original characters who will not be coming back but I will give the new characters a chance. Who knows, they might be interesting. :)
In the last episode, the way the doctor said that he may not remember anything made me laugh. I don't even know why. I guess it's because of the abrupt change of tone from happy to sad in the middle of the episode. Overall, this is one of the better stories in U-Prince series. :)
50 episodes in and it's still well-written, well-acted, and emotionally resonant.
Their songs are always so good!!
