Part of the issue is that a lot of sites are run by "fans" and information is filled in by what people find online, including MDL. Since 16-20 has been the the norm, people who don't speak Korean gather info from other Fan run sites for their own pages. I think there is a lot of presumption happening and people are simply filling in the number of episodes before looking to the source for the correct information.
DramaFever has had 12 ep since they started airing it. They don't use fans or viewers but professionals to update their site directly from the network, not to say mistakes and changes can't happen. I would think they would have a clear knowledge since they are legally buying the material and managing their website.

AjhennieArol.... It says 20 episodes, but this is an error. If you go down further on the side bar of Wiki it says the start date is Oct. 13- Nov 18th. Then if you scroll down to the ratings chart it only lists 12 weeks. The chart has only had 12 weeks on it since the week it aired.

GBC was never cut Ajhennie, the drama was always 12 episodes.

You will find stronger regulations when dramas are made by these networks.

Cable channels have a lot more freedom, some of the big ones who produce dramas are:
TVN, ONC and JTBC

The term "drama or dramas" used more often when a program is mentioned in news articles. In general conversation... More often you will hear people will say "I love crime dramas" , "My favorite drama at the moment is...." where someone saying "I'm going to watch my (or a) drama." is less common.

It is also important to keep in mind...America is big. The popular words used in daily conversation can change depending on what region of the country you live in.

I just went back through Good Soups previous posts. I missed a few the first time... Yes, the book is a good deal different. I am still hoping for a happy ending. I keep thinking back to the part where HS says she wants Good Soup to have a happy ending, its something she fights the CEO on. She wants it for herself but she also knows that is what makes the public happy too. I am hoping the scriptwriter will want it for TOL.

ONC doesn't have to follow the same ethics rules required of them as a national tv network.
It's basically a "paid" cable TV channel, which gives them a lot more freedom with adult content.

We have "dramas" in the US, they are more often called "shows", but they can also be called dramas.
Our dramas are generally not just a single season...They more often if they do well they can run for years, with a consistent number of episodes each season.

I could do without the sloppy cheap humor, its reducing the appeal....The story is cute, it has potential.

I'd skip it for now. It's floundering to remain interesting, there was a big ratings drop in Korea this week. There are still 6 episodes to go.

The key events in the book have not happened yet.... If they do split and he decides to return to Paris and if she gets his letter post the tragic event that follows their separation... For me this drama is getting to exhausting... If it stays on it's current path...I may wait until the end and then catch some of the key parts to see how it is all settled but that is about it.
