As a big fan of the manga, I enjoyed this adaption a lot. I especially appreciate the characters they added solely to this adaptation, the therapist and takeshi's moms assistant guy. Both characters added quite a bit of depth to the story, particularly the therapist guy.
Bloody hell this was a beautiful watch. This drama oozed romance and sensuality. I look forward to re-watching this drama in the not too distant future, simply fantastic.
Going by the many very positive reviews and comments about the movie I thought i'd enjoy it more than I did. I wouldn't go so far as saying that I disliked the movie, but let's just say that I was disappointed. Much of my disappointment with the movie came from the mediocre story. I can kind of understand why some people may find a bit of interest in it, but I personally felt that it was far too simple and predictable. Even the finale, where the final con was supposed to come to fruition was a very weak ending.. If anyone know what I specifically disliked, let me know, but keep in mind that there was enough to like in the movie that I rated it a 7.5.
Make no mistake about it, this is a pretty nice series. Unfortunately however, the ending seemed very rushed and left me unfulfilled. The whole romance subplot between the two leads was even left unfinished, which was quite disappointing. If you're deciding whether or not to watch it, definitely do so, but it's not a MUST WATCH.
As a big fan of the let's eat 'series', I'm not too thrilled on the abrupt ending. That said, season 3 had the best plot line and moments, though, season 2 is quite close. This season also had some truly hilarious moments of comedy, courtesy of the various flashback scenes featuring Goo dae young and his crew in college. Speaking of which, those scenes heavily reminded me of the intro scenes from Gentleman's dignity, one of my favorite dramas.
Even if there's no eventual sequel I'll still be content, but I really would love a sequel, Let's eat is just too great a series..

I'm also a little disappointed by the abrupt ending, though they ended it as best they could. Regarding the previous seasons, they're just as good as this one in my eyes, though season 1's plotline is a little weaker than 2.
At first I was a little bored, but as things got going, boy did I fricken love this movie. Not only is the social commentary on the secret lives that people live spot on, but the humor, even in the darkest of moments, is beyond funny. I watch movies for a good time, and this was a good time, can't ask for more than that.
Yeah, it's a porno, but that doesn't stop this movie from being a thoroughly entertaining watch. This movie works on so many levels, be it the comedy, it's romance or just the quirkiness of the plot. It might sound like i'm joking, but i'm not, this is legitimately a fun watch.
