Oh no, that sucks that reading it ruined your experience of the show :( I can imagine that it would be hard to flush out certain things. But yes, then I definitely made a good decision...
What are your opinions on the character portrayals in the novel versus the series? Do you prefer one over the…
I for the life of me couldn't get through the novel. I read until the part CC told WSW he wanted to sleep with him, while that random girl was licking his toes, and I just couldn't anymore. Both of them were so awful in the novel in just the small part that I read. I'm glad the characters were different in the series, I absolutely prefer them in that. In the series they were still messed up, sure, but they had more redeeming qualities, they had genuine feelings for each other & had clearer motivations about why they did things. They were also overall more well-rounded & complex.
The extra BTS clips will be nice and all, but I can't really be excited about them knowing how the actors are still getting harrassed and being cut from other productions, it just feels weird
I mean, I'm not 100% convinced either, I might've gotten a bit too swept away yesterday. We'll just have to wait and see what is or isn't true, but things aren't looking good for TXN (& Zi Yu) in any case
I'm seriously already re-watching this. Can't let it go 💜💜 💜 The first couple of episodes are actually better with the re-watch. Maybe it's just because of how much I love the characters haha.
I'm gutted about the bans mentioned earlier though. I really hope things get better for them & TXN can somehow continue acting. He was so captivating in every single scene ðŸ˜
The ending was so sudden, I already want to re-watch everything ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I can't even put into words what this series has meant to me in this depressing summer. It's slowly become one of my all-time favourites, despite its flaws. The character development and Tian Xu Ning's & Zi Yu's acting will definitely stay with me 💜
This episode 😠WSW selling his house and the prison scenes made me cry more than ep 19. Ugh. It's incredible how much WSW's love has evolved though and how honest he was here. Losing CC and the company made him so real, so humble.
Also, this was the first time I actually liked Wang Shuo, his pettiness was hilarious. And the way Wang Zhen reacted when he mentioned WSW xD I wouldn't mind seeing them again in the last episode. THE LAST EPISODE ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Them kicking the mother, Wang Shu, Wang Zhang and the relationship between the TWO out of nowhere gets shocking…
Yeah, it was A LOT in a short amount of time. It does feel rushed, but I can also see why CC & WSW wouldn't want to dwell on things after all they've been through and that they'd just want to let it go and be happy to be together again.
Okay, episode 20 got really strange with that scheme at the end. At the beginning I was crying and then I was happy they got back together (though it did get very cutesy very quickly), but then the focus on getting Xiaoshuai and Chengyu to sleep together was just weird. And HOW FAR they took the scheme. WSW has such a twisted mind. I hope that doesn't drag on too much in the next episode... Anyway, I'm glad they reconciled so quickly. I couldn't have handled another episode 19 haha
I've never wanted all the episodes at once. Don't say that we all want the same thing because that's not true.…
I feel the same, having to wait between episodes just makes me more excited about them. It'll be weird to not have them to look forward to anymore after Tuesday.
Though I also see Lyson's point and had to laugh at their comment. This fandom experience has been wild haha
I just started watching this a couple of days ago & I was loving it, thinking that the different cases & mental health were handled really well & delicately, but then I just came to EP7. *sigh* SO disappointing how superficial they made the character with the eating disorder. They set up her story pretty well & there was potential for something more meaningful there, but then they made the whole thing about her appearance. It's NEVER just about appearance with eating disorders, especially not if someone's had one for that many years. And the ending, when she can suddenly eat a piece of cake & smile at how good it is? After this character had the disorder since she was a teenager? That would NEVER happen.
I kind of want to give up on this show because of how badly this episode was handled.
I already want to rewatch this :'D It's strange not having new episodes to look forward to on the weekends, this was the first drama I watched every week as it was airing. I loved it so much <33 FNOS is definitely one of my top favourite dramas.
OMG, that ending scene. Finally 💜💜💜 And with the ring trick! I'm glad they ended up showing that.
Just an amazing episode overall. As others have already mentioned, this drama really is good at not dragging things out. CCW's past life hang-ups were resolved so quickly and in a natural way. I loved seeing some of the old CCW come back, in a different, more evolved way.
It was nice to see Mr Ma's past too. Such a sad backstory, but happy to see him back with his love. Also, that scene where they first confronted the ghost and they all ran away, all for themselves, was so funny xD
He is/was still a bit stuck in the past-life memories. You gotta take in account that he "lived" that life for…
I was thinking the same. I think he just needs some time to figure things out and recalibrate. I agree that Seul Hae could play a big part in this, what with her reaction in the preview.
Also, with experiencing how differently Poong Baek lived, maybe CCW feels guilty for how selfishly he behaved before. Maybe part of his behaviour in the last episode is just (temporary) overcompensation for this.
I don't really have the patience to watch all those short table reading clips myself

I've loved this drama so much more than expected & I don't want it to be over ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
