The romantic interactions, either verbally or action-wise, between RLZ (RNZ in the novel version) and LJS (LQS in the novel version) are VERY LOWKEY. There are only hints. Viewers need to read between the lines. If I remember correctly, the endings in the novel and in the series are different. The novel version is much more satisfying.
