The last episode was a bit disappointing... I wished she came back to modern times in the middle of the episode and not the last minute of the finale.. Why spend whole episode in Joseon, if she's not in love with the guy. She missed her friend's wedding, her own collection opening.. And the main couple only had one small scene together at the very end.
Lol! I felt cheated on with that sudden “body swap” in the name of plastic surgery. It’s ridiculous
I think it's just lazy writing. You don't need logic for that. I hope the viewership will dip even more and they will wrap it up with season 1. I don't know if I can digest season 2.
Honestly, this is like Penthouse season 3 on steroids. This episode was such a disappointment. It would have made more sense if he was Mr Bang's dead son than K. How can you age your body? Lol
I hope the Sergeant gets betrothed to the young princess that's a way out for a sort of logical happy ending.…
I think that will happen which is a shame. He should be happy as well and not serve just as a plot device for the main couple to be together.. I wish k-dramas would stop with 2nd leads, I don’t think those triangles are needed at all..
the film wasn't what i expected. was expecting a little better actually. the "could happen" scenarios were very…
I think the beginning was strong, the opening scene and then it started to get worse and worse. The 3rd act was a mess. It was too long. The film had probably 3 endings. Also only at the end, I understood that that woman was the boss sister and not his lover (?). Their relationship were really weird, but not explained.
I wonder how they're going to wrap up the relationship between the Crown Prince, Min Jae Yi and the Sergeant. Because if the prince and Jae Yi will end up together he will lose his best friend Sergeant. Even though they didn't know each other, the Sergeant believed in his fiancee's innocence and was waiting for her just to find out his best friend is in love with her and she doesn't want to be with him anymore. I don't think he will turn evil, but something bad probably will happen to one of them. I don't know how can they make a logical happy ending here.
Saw it at Berlin Film Festival. While the action scenes were really well made and exciting, the film felt way too long. 3rd act felt like never ending and I was waiting when it will come to an end. The lead actress was great as most of the actors.
I thought Minho’s acting was bad. I liked him in Hwarang, but maybe the character there was similar to his personality.…
Oh yeah, I didn’t like Go Ara’s character at all in that! Was so annoying. Business Proposal was a surprise despite a cliché plot. I liked 21/25 even though many rom dramas had sad endings.. I hope for Alchemy of Souls to have a happy ending :)
It was ok, not horrible but also not amazing. This is a good palette cleanser. However, the acting is kinda bad.…
I thought Minho’s acting was bad. I liked him in Hwarang, but maybe the character there was similar to his personality. I think in his latest shows he was kind of bad… maybe he should study more. For the actors - a lot of characters had over the top personalities, so they were just cringy to watch
At this point, I don't see why should Queen Dowager continue to support the Prince Uinsug, since he's the son of the former queen's son. At the same time, given the situation why would she still go against the Crown Prince? She's just basically ruining herself and will get herself killed.. Not that I would be sad, but I don't want the Crown prince, his mother and brothers to suffer...
Somehow I feel like the Prince was actually getting better, but then after seeing him healthy at his daughter's birth, people who don't want to see him as a king, did something to him. It's easy to put something into food or give medicine or tea that could actually worsen the situation again...
I think she wants to control the Crown Prince and the future king and because the current queen is very independent…
Obviously she cares about her sons, no mother would like her children to die. But Dowager can control the Concubines by letting them to compete whose son could be the next Crown Prince. The current queen was already feeling secure until she found out about her son's illness and now she has to find a way for her children to stay alive. I think in the later episodes we'll learn more about Dowager and the current queen. Maybe she also cares about the country and politics. As we learned, she's not stupid, if she can tutor the grand princes. Also for Dowager she's power hungry. She is still controlling the king. And yeah, she's old. But the king can also die anytime, so if the queen's son would become a new king she would be pushed outside the palace. Also I think it could be related to the fact that concubines were always considered below the royal blood queens. We also saw that in the Red Sleeve where the main villain was also a concubine. But I do agree it feels a bit weird how she liked the Crown Prince and now she wants him dead... If she didn't like him from the beginning that would make more.
I don't understand the motivation of the Queen Dowager, just because the Crown Prince is sick with a disease that…
I think she wants to control the Crown Prince and the future king and because the current queen is very independent and isn’t showing her ‘the respect’ she thinks she deserve, she wants to replace her and her son
The beginning was promising but then everything went downhill. I don’t think that the romance between Anna and JeHa was necessary. For some part it was even hard to believe it, because Anna mentally seemed to be still a child. Especially in the beginning. In the middle it started to drag and I just skipped so much just so I could see how it ends. But could have just went straight to ep. 16.
But I do agree it feels a bit weird how she liked the Crown Prince and now she wants him dead... If she didn't like him from the beginning that would make more.
