It was so refreshing to realize that the mo wasn't going to be another cold, rude, ‘tough guy’ like in so many dramas. Its nice to see men portrayed more multidimensionally.
So stupid. Most men today want a strong woman, not a house wife. I don't know if it is any different in China…
I don't think you watched far enough because there is no issue about men being preferential to housewives than working women.
On another note, I'm not saying you meant it like this, but strong women can be housewives. It's more about strength of character and individuality than whether they are ninjas or ceo’s. ‘Strong’ shouldn't be only equated with stereotypically masculine traits.
I saw the first episode and it definitely has some My Dear Boy vibes in direction, production, and cinematography. I loved MDB so I’m looking forward to this.
I loved this drama! So short and well produced, acted and written. I wish it had been longer, only because I loved it so much and would have enjoyed seeing it more fleshed out. Either, it’s a great watch!
It didn’t really feel like there was an ending. I think that was intentional, like strings of short relationships are on loop feeds and the end of one is the beginning of another. Something like that?
