Wholesome and Beautiful
For me this series is like a spring. After a long time, I have a series which brings a great story, fulfilling scene, visual candies, melodious song and great side actors too.The best feast for my eyes is obviously the handsome and pretty actors. Specially Pond, every moment with Pond was filled with beauty. He is for sure a great actor too, you can feel his acting in his eyes. The pairing for lead actors was amazing. Watching Peterpan for a 1st time, I am so satisfied.
The arc of friendship, loyalty, unconditional love, longing, sadness, jealousy, forgiveness even hatred is portrayed in a great way. I personally loved every second of series.
In this series the lasting impressions for me was, how one can love someone so much, that they even die of heartbreak. The love of Tada is not cherry on the cake, it's the whole cake.
My favourite side actor secretary Veynai, brings such a screaming moments for me and equally funny too. Every actor did amazing job. I even loved the actor behind villian, he did such a powerful acting of jealous brother, and shown that feeling behind all those action, though it shocked me greatly knowing his intentions towards his brother, but atleast it brings the justice to his madness.
Finally I can totally recommend this series, you will love it, it's more than worthwhile.
I think this series deserved even higher rate. This is my 1st time leaving a comment of any series.

Go ahead, watch it, because you will always crave for this series to watch again as a first timer.

All the flavour in one dish
It's too rare for bl industry to give such a rare series. Although I don't like the old period setting and politics, this series gave me so much more to appreciate everything. I started it for Apo mile but the 2nd couple successfully caught my attention.As always I love everything done by Apo, he is such a great actor that it gets hard to not admire him.
Back to series, it is fun to watch, sad, romance, mystery, depressing. There are many scenes, when we know some love stories are doomed from starting but we still root for them. And I love this iconic series for its execution, all the elements whether it's style, it's setting, everything.
I will suggest to watch it atleast once, don't miss the gem🫶🏻.

Destiny against love
After a long time, the historical drama in bl genre, and a bittersweet ending....it's a masterpiece.After watching all type of bloodshed historical dramas, where the main story belongs to battlefield, politics and no love to die together, this series brings freshness for me.
Duan is a lover everyone craves. But what happens if at the brink of being together, destiny brings you far apart, unable to watch, and if you still watch the love of your life, it will bring pain.
Yes, such a heart wrenching love, where you have to cautious of your own love and lover, the love thats country apart, proper enemy to lover but have to be enemy for the same of people.
It's overwhelming how many times they get apart from their lover, and the next time they see, it's more tragic. It's sad how destiny plays the role in our life. It's not about how strong your love is, if it meant to give you pain again and again, even at the point of death.
I love how realistic everything this drama has, whether the bond of father as a king, the brother who was crowned, or the lover who is future crown prince of enemy country. And the most realistic is ending, no matter how hard you try to hold the water in your hands, it will slip.
I don't know in what category I should keep this series, its sad, romantic, historical, etc....but it's sure is a MASTERPIECE. Do watch it.

when I just completed to watch this series, I was so fulfilled and satisfied with all the feelings this series gave me. There are very rare series which make a lasting impression on you, and this is 1 of that.I don't think it was anything special to fell in love with a series, if it's Chinese bl, but the uncensorship got me. The way when actors eyes speak and it reaches to heart of audience, it always makes me feel special about those acting.
Apart from story and acting, the actors were eye candy for me. I specially took so long before dropping review but still getting tongue- tied, I rarely behave like this...lol. But this is really beautiful and awesome to even pen my feelings.
I highly, absolutely recommend this, if u have not watched it till now, which is definitely rare😂. Because everyone was watching in priority even painfully waiting for every week. But the future bl lovers can definitely watch it, and believe me, you are lucky, as u don't have to wait for next episode.
I am definitely gonna rewatch it innumerable times, so let's meet randomly in comment, reels, etc in future, my fellow bl lovers🥂
