It is basically a new version of an older variety show called 'the Genius' (더 지니어스). It is frome the same creators! I loved the Genius and was so glad when I heard they created a new show! I love it so far. And yes i agree it does kind of have the same fell as Alive in Borderland. the Games and the forming of alliances. I love it!

Same! I just had to pause after the moment in ep.7. Like wth, I mean Jim had to face struggles because of his own sexuality for sure, so why would he be so judgemental instead of being understanding and supportive. Its not like Li Ming has any influence on who he likes.
And then ONE scene later he talks to his mother and says the complete opposite than before to Li Ming.
It frustrated me that they made Jim so anti everything and so stubborn at times and then without reason supportive in others. The character felt so incoherent/consistent.
I also agreee with every other points you made.

Thanks for this review, after watching the drama there were many things I appreciated and many things I didn't. Your review expressed everything I also felt after watching: the rushed ending in regards to the cult and the actual aftermath of it all, also the psychological effects and the lack of exploring what happend to them as friends and how they deal with all the things that happened.
The acting on the other hand like you mentioned was very good! I would rate this drama exactly as you did.
