He does act, a lot. But he acts out of selflessness. He acts when people ask for help, he acts when someone needs him without them even asking. The act of love. Yes agree he is inept and holds back when it comes to his own benefits. Yes he didn't act because he feared, but that was in the beginning. Later he has learned to open his heart and let his walls down, when he chooses to step back, it's no longer out of fear, but out of understanding, thoughtfulness and acceptance.

What a relief. I thought as much about translation issue. Him saying that line made my heart ache and I cried more than I did in other scenes, maybe because it also reminded me of KSH saying he's afraid he's not good enough and not fitting in. I was like no, you're not a loser. You're doing brilliantly. If someome doesn't see that and doesn't appreciate you, it's their loss. Thanks for the clarification x
