That's by far one of the most ridiculous things happening in this show. Why on earth does DS keep the letters that belong to HJP which are rightfully HJP's keepsakes, not DS's? And DS being the insecure jealous guy that he is doesn't feel jealous or threatened by the contents, but instead memorising them and quoting them as if it's his shared memories with DM to begin with. Like really?
