In The Player he definitely gained weight. Especially in his face. I mean, I wouldn't kick him out of my bed for eating crackers but I physically like the Mek Star & Sky.

Oh I know what to expect based on the country it's coming out of & Japan is notorious for putting out over the top BL's. I liked Kieta Hatsukoi, Life, & the Seven Days series & they did have moments of over the top but I think I liked the story line as well. The stories were always moving forward & the over the top reactions diminished. I thought it would happen with this story line but for me it didn't. It's enjoyable for me right up until the silliness takes me right out of the mood LOL.
I would have liked to see more of Naoya's POV as it's not nearly as over the top tiring as Kota's but it was short lived. Kota's dramatic anti-intimacy/affection is at an all time high & quite infuriating. I realize that some cultures continue to be none the wiser when it comes to relationships, sex, etc. but I feel like a total whore watching this! By their age my virgin years were well behind me, first love had & gone, & relationships o-plenty were in the making. I appreciate to a certain degree the innocent virgin-like approach to this relationship but in no way can relate. I'm sure for some this is relatable & enjoyable but I'm clearly too old for this type of mindset. I thought the silliness would stop sooner but alas, it has just gotten more sigh-able LOL. Peter tied to the chair AGAIN would have been totally welcome & at the same time totally wasted on Boss LOL. The hair absolutely kills me...right now I'm watching KinnPorsche & no matter what happens I cannot get over Nititorn's hair. All I want to do is take the nearest scissors or clippers to it while laughing & giggling like a madwoman. Finale episode was a yawn. I wasn't expecting much to begin with as chemistry between the ML's was non-existent anyway. All the couples finding their HEA was boring. Bringing Amy back into the picture to saddle her with poor sap Tewit was just wrong. I disliked Teng & his ex for too long & never could see what Mayom did so I really couldn't stand the amount of screen time they got. I also despised both of their hairstyles...I miss the eighties as much as the next person but not the hair. Athip buying the restaurant for Poon even though Poon had just told him that he wanted to gain enough expertise in order to own his own restaurant is stupid & shows how much he didn't learn from this experience. I'd like to say that I expected more from this series & that it was great & showed much potential in the beginning...but that would be an outright lie. I didn't expect much & my slutty heart really just wanted to feast my eyes on Boss' tattoo that sadly never made an appearance.
