I did not have fun with the first season. I thought it was silly & poorly written. Due to my low standards & sheer boredom, I stuck around for the eye candy. If I actually cared enough, I would have dropped it as soon as it was clear that "escaping" meant come & go as you choose.
As this is an opinion forum, this is mine. I'm glad you had such fun with this show. In my opinion, if the writers aren't different & better than the 1st time around, I'll just be tuning in for the eye candy...again.

It's the rating it by episode that I don't like. Once the show has aired then rating it works for me. I only rate after I've completed & I never rate those that I drop. My dropping it IS my rating LOL.
All I can say is that Shogun & First are yet again PERFECT examples of WHY workshops WORK!!! Whether this series was a shitshow or an Oscar nominee, they were the cats meow! My 7.5 rating has absolutely nothing to do with THEIR performance. They are off the charts & I'm anxious to find out if their ship will sail into another BL soon!

Sometimes the look CAN grow on me but rarely. In My Personal Weatherman it took me a little time to find the skeletal look of the ML mildly attractive. I think at that point I just liked his character so it aided in his appeal.
It's a no for me. Niihara hasn't changed his face in 2 episodes & quite a bit of emotion should be shown on it given what has happened in both episodes. This is all just comes off as weird to me & while I'm all for a slow burn, I'm not sure if Shirasaki can have chemistry with anyone.
