it looked really good! i was having fun! until i discovered the romance was between jianjian and ling xiao. I saw them as siblings, so it was a little weird for me. I know they are not really related but (according to the drama and jianjian) they were raised as siblings so uhm. I was hoping for all three of them to have individual love stories (like in korean family dramas), but nop. The trio is adorable and funny tho, I'd totally continue watching if it weren't for the future romance. I also liked the intro song!
i watched this a long time ago, i think it was one of the first asian dramas i've watched and it holds a special place in my heart. i remember it as a drama about friendship, family, love, decisions, regrets and grow. even after 10 years i can still remember a couple of scenes that left an impact on me.
honestly, i don't watch dramas that deal with death, but this one is such a gem, it's heartwarming and funny and full of love, i hope you can give it a chance. every little story was so so touching. all the main characters were lovely and real and i truly enjoyed watching them grow.
"The evil is defeated, most side characters are safe and sound. However, one of the main leads dies, and the other waits 400 years for their reincarnation." I know what drama this is about, and let me tell you, that was not a happy ending for me, in fact, that was the first time I cried with an ending.
Great article!!! I relate to a lot of the answers, I do prefer happy endings because I don't like crying. If the drama is good, I'll watch it no matter what the ending is, however, I need to be prepared or else it leaves me feeling sad for days.
I'm kinda sad about the ending. it was bong hwan who cheoljong fell in love with and i think bong hwan also felt something for him. even if it was a happy ending for so yong, i don't think it was really a happy ending for the rest of them. I'd have liked to see what happened with bong hwan after he came back, he left without even saying goodbye, and no one knew it was him all along!
I liked it???? It was good! It was a normal slice of life drama with realistic little romance and i enjoyed it! I do agree that there were some pointless plots, but taking into consideration that sometimes that's how life is, it was never boring for me. I don't like dramas with big misunderstandings and betrayal so I liked the way they decided to end it. To be honest, it was the only kdrama that i watched in 2020 that i actually liked.
