Quite literally a materpiece. I very eagerly awaited mondays and tuesdays this summer because this show was EVERYTHING. Chi Cheng is forever Wu Suo Wei's smile protector. Wei Wei's big huge eyes and innocent joyfulness was EVERYTHING. I loved their love and it was a privellege to watch it bloom each week. It was a very good rendition of the book too - taking the best parts and following the logical storyline. Honestly this took the BL industry by storm because it was one of the first chinese bl's to complete while still having intimate scenes, and the online community were LOVING it alongside me. I would find myself watching the highlights on repeat everyday. Counting down till the next ep came out. Life changing. I am going to miss it soooo much but i know i will re-watch many times too.

Had me kicking and squealing like a little kid. Took all the best bits from the chinese plot and then added all the best bits of kdrama world and korean culture and squished it into 16 eps. Beautiful and magnificent. Loved every second! (Only wish was that it was longer because some bits were a little too squished!!)

This was one of the best BLs I’ve seen this year so i can’t believe they will leave us hanging like this! Season 1 should have been double the length 😅 anyway, petition for season 2!!
