What lands for me in this series is the irony, and it's so well blended you almost don't notice it.
Sunny taking his stage name from the person he betrayed to get where he is, but also his original name being Bank and then having to steal to finance his betrayal. The bathroom scene where he talks a big game while intimidating Sky and then running away like a scared puppy when he realises his first victim is backing his current one was perfect. Sun didn't even need to say anything, it was all in the eyes and the presence.
And Sun's whole situation where he was betrayed by his bf, robbed blind, lost his family and then went into the lion's den for revenge where he found his new bf, who is obsessed with him, and a found family, who support and encourage him.
The best writing is in the subtle delivery and we focus so hard on the plot we almost don't see it. Excellent work, writing team!
I love a good story weave across studio projects! It's like Disney theories. I love how, after all starring together in Love in the Air, they went on to separate projects but still have the connections there. Fort and Peat went on to Love Sea where Peat was a writer who wrote The Boy Next World and was launching his book adaptation, starring (drum roll...) Boss and Noeul (who cameo'd for the event) in LS and also starred in the actual series when it was produced.
