Only the first 11 episodes are good even if the main actress is really awful. The rest is crap. Too bad it turned this way because the concept is interesting and new, but they had to turn it into the worst makjang (or whatever the chinese equivalent for this genre is).
LOL This drama is so predictable. I knew it there will be a kiss in episode 4.
Yoon Ha is so immature and desperate. She isn't a good friend either. She lies to Ji Yi all the time but to Joon Ki she tells the truth so fast. In the preview she says that she thought that she can't start to love and lie. But you can start a friendship and lie?
The second episode: SO AWFUL
I couldn't enjoy the funny scenes because of Im Ji Yeon's acting. How can she be sooo bad?
LOL again at Joon Ki: he is poor but he lives in a fancy apartment. It's doesn't matter if it's rented, for a house like that even the rent is expensive, plus all the bills. Stop acting like you're a victim, Joon Ki.
Also isn't the saying Girls be ambitions and not boys? How many wrong lines is going this drama to have? It's only the second episode. The "cereal" incident and now this. Ji Yi doesn't understand/speak English but she inserts English words in her lines all the time...
The makjang level is higher than expected. Joon Ki's isn't that poor. He has a good job. Even his mom works. But…
I know that but it is a house with abusive parents and a lot of misery for Yoon Ha. That's why I thought she should find a way to escape. Marriage isn't the best choice but, it's just a drama, it might not be that bad. There are plenty of dramas where unmarried children don't live with their parents anymore but they still have a big influence of them so I guess there is no big difference. lol
The problem wasn't her reaction but the question itself. I thought..oh well who knows how they say to cereal in Korean but then she repeats Cereal with korean accent I was like: you're kidding me. The word cereal seems to be the same in many languages (or most of them). I guess we can blame the writer here.
Joon Ki's isn't that poor. He has a good job. Even his mom works. But because he is surrounded only by very rich people, he is suddenly unhappy and greedy. He dumped his girlfriend because she wasn't rich enough? lol But Yoon Ha is part of a big family so her share of money isn't big. She is an outcast too.
I think that Joon Ki and Chang Soo's friendship is only on the surface, It's obvious that Chang Soo looks down on Joon Ki and only uses his brain, while Joon Ki uses Chang Soo's status to be around rich people and find himself a rich wife.
Why can't Yoon Ha just move out of that house? At her age, she is still living with her parents?! She could have studied and get a job then rent a house with her friend and leave her parents to live with their money.
That part-time job seems just a hobby, not a source of money or a step to independence.
Ji Yi couldn't understand that American guy's question even if the word "cereal" is the same in English and Korean? Seriously?! These days they ask you everywhere to have a certain level of English... But she still got hired?!
Hwa Yi's logic: I don't want you to know my real identity but I will stare at you with angry eyes everytime I…
XD they were!
Unfortunatelly In woo's destiny is already doomed because he is a second or supporting character. Let's hope that he doesn't die.
I visit soompi forums sometimes and fans want at least that Hwa Yi to really love In woo even if later she will have to marry Hong Joo won for political reasons. I guess that would be more acceptable than the premise that she could fall in love with Joo won. At this point in the drama, it's an unacceptable thought.
Hwa Yi's logic: I don't want you to know my real identity but I will stare at you with angry eyes everytime I…
Maybe it's because of Hong Joo Won's bad influence. XD
He likes lately to sing abandon me like you do to the king. It makes me sick. The child Hong Joo Won was waaaaay better.
Hwa Yi was so awesome in Japan. Why couldn't she act like she did in the scene with Idachi? Where are her talking skills? In Japan?
I don't want you to know my real identity but I will stare at you with angry eyes everytime I get the chance, I will tell you that you've known me all your life and I will definitelly show you my unforgotten royal education. Seriously?!
And what was that lame attempt to lie to him? She had years to prepare for this event.
I can't believe that Hong Joo Won became the king's servant so soon. I wanted to scream when he called him "your majesty". Even the king liked him because Joo won was a challenge. Such disappointment.
"I am pretty now... But my husband doesn't even look at me"- Sara Maybe this is the real message that…
I'm not trying to defend this drama. There is a big chance I will drop it before the third episode airs. I was so angry after the first episode. But I think that the second episode was better and the writer was less superficial.
The evil parents-in-law is such a cliche in kdramas, they are just against everyone. You can't have any expectations from them. Her father in law seemed to be on her side but at the same time he was blind at his family's actions against her.
The entire part with the plastic surgery is a big parody. You can't just transform your entire body with only one surgery. What kind of doctor does that? And then the people's reaction when they saw the "new" her? Seriously? I would like to think that behind all that, the writer said: look how people really are, how they judge someone only by their looks." But I bet that there is no deep meaning behind her writing.
Plastic surgery is a common thing in S. Korea. I'm surprised that there aren't more dramas/movies about that. It's like they aren't even trying to fight against it.
"Do you know who is my oppa? the richest man on earth"
So only the poor people deserve to die because they have nothing anyway? Seriously?

That Romanian...
I can't stop laughing
But why Kochenia, instead of Romania?

Maybe this is the real message that the writer wants to sent. Don't expect to be treated well just because you're pretty.
Later, when the husband gets interested in her is because she acted like Sa Geun-Ran not because of Joo Sang Wook's sexy ways.
