Those scenes were really important. The soul of the book, of the story. How could they change or delete them?!
But overall it was a good movie.
I have the book Remains of the day. I plan to read it. I will check out the movie too.

I watched the movie version of Never let me go. I liked it but it isn't at the level of the book. They changed the most important scenes. Only the ending was good.

I'm so annoyed that Jaejoong plays in Triangle. I wanted to give the drama a try. Song Seung Hun was suppossed to play instead of him. I prefer him. He played so many times as a gangster, he can't fail. XD

King's daughter seems such a tv novel. I'm not decided on it yet.
I have 2 weeks left with Empress ki. I feel like watching after it another sageuk, but there isn't any upcoming sageuk. :(

Also, why the girls couldn't get pregnant? Even if they were clones, they were human beings too, right? If their organs could be used by normal people, that means there was no reason why they couldn't get pregnant too. Actually, they could use later the organs of their kids too. More organs, more lives saved.
I think that maybe in 100 or 200 years, people could become like that: making clones to take their organs. It's not like they wouldn't do that in the present day but there is no technology for that.
Even now, they take organs from people who are clinically dead or in a profound coma. If they take organs so easily from someone of their own, from a robot or a clone would be a piece of cake.

Maybe it's just me and my cold soul but I think that Kazuo Ishiguro's intention was never meant to make us cry with his story but it was more like meant to give this message: life is cruel, deal with it. I don't think it was: life is cruel, let's all cry and hug each other.
I didn't cry, even if I felt a bit of sadness while I read the last pages.
You know, I wanted all along that Kathy and Tommy to be together but when it happened in the end I felt like it was forced, like they did it because Ruth asked them. I never liked how Kathy always found excuses for Ruth's actions.
Tommy and Ruth being a couple was so out of blue, he was only friend with Kathy and I don't think Ruth ever expressed any interest in him. But maybe it's because the story was told from Kathy's point of view so we can't really know for sure.
I think Ruth and Tommy didn't like Kathy in their last moments of their life because she has been a carer for so long, for not sufferring like them as a donor. It was like they were asking her: why do you fight so much to live, why do you prolong it so much, in the end you will be a donor too and you will complete;
I don't get why they were so pasive, why they accepted their fate so easily, why they didn't fight against those who wanted them to donate.

Oh I see. How come he didn't get an English name...
But I could totally see this story in a japanese drama/movie.
I don't like Ruth.
You didn't tell me: have you seen the movie or not?
If you are curious...then watch it. :D Don't refrain yourself. Live the moment! :)))
Well..I'm okay..I plan to study a bit tomorrow but I got so lazy lately. I mean, I could read any kind of books all day long everyday, but when it comes to books I have to study from, well, that's a different story. XD

What do you think of the book: Never let me go by Kazuo Ishiguro? I saw that you read it too. I'm about to finish it today. For now I don't find anything to cry about in it (I read some comments that it is such a sad/tragic book) but maybe the sad parts are about to come. Like I said, I will finish it today or tomorrow morning.
Have you seen the movie version? I found it curious that British people did an adoptation of it and not Japanese people. He is a Japanese author after all.

I wonder how come Sato Takeru has no romantic drama. With his looks and so many fans, I thought he played at least in one or two.

Neata!
Dragos Bucur a avut o aparitie cameo.
De dimineata m-am uitat la Wonderful days. Am prins drag de drama asta. Ai de gand sa te uiti si tu?
Ce seriale/filme vrei sa descarci?
Vizionare placuta!
*hugs*
