Is QOT really that good or is it overrated? I haven't started watching it yet but from reading some of such articles,…
I am currently watching it and it has an interesting approach. It is one of the best I’ve seen so far but since it is not over yet, I can’t say 100%. Based of acting and plot alone, so far, it well deserves its ratings.
Bulgari: OK! So I will agree to show my exquisite-so-cannot-afford-in-this-lifetime engagement ring, but I need you to show it like... 10 times or so. Subway: Hah! 10 times.... Can we have her eat one sandwich next time, while wearing that ring? Bulgari: Remember when in 2020 during the pandemic a USA court ruled that Subway should not receive financial help because their bread cannot be considered bread do to it's high sugar content? Subway: ... Bulgari: ........
And here I thought you'd be bothered that the white truck made a cameo without killing anybody!
they should have hidden the car,... c'omon, we know his car, it's a car that stands out a lot ... just focus on him trying to get rid of it and the just blow our minds... BUT, I don't want people to think we're haters, I loved the idea and I am not looking for every little thing to complain, just point it out that it could have been directed differently to really blow our minds.
Last scene would have been REALLY surprising but the script was kind of soppy, I figured it out immediately. Should have called her, skip the "why are you here" or something, just have her get up and go with him, and make him less.. suspicious.. and that plot twist would have slayed .... oh well, i was sure when I saw the car chasing him but the fact that I got it right from where he showed up kinda killed it. Great idea though..
So you mean to tell me that when he saw her on the bridge.... he knew who she was and felt all the bittersweet feelings of meeting your crush after what, 12 years, only to be appreciated for the glamorous life which is eating you out? Man that must have hit hard.
All aside, wow did I feel all the feels when he got out of the car and she was shocked :))))
Funny little useless story ahead: I remember I had this crush on someone when I was younger. He was a teacher, not at our class, a different class, and of course all girls were fangirling whenever he showed up. I was never able to say a word to the guy, well other than "Hello sir" and all the other respectful remarks one makes when a teacher talks to you. He was like only 4 years older but hey, still a teacher :)) In any case, I was once on the street and was waiting for a friend. I guess he drove past me, because I then saw a car stop a few meters in front of me, he parked it and got out. The same walk I swear to God, wearing sort of the same clothes as the ML (no umbrella though, no rain no snow ) and just came to me and was like: "Hello" (and said my name). I kid you not, the *brain, say something* scene hit so hard because it took me back in time. I must have had the same dumb exalted look upon my face :))) Seeing I cannot utter a word, he looked up at the building we were in front of and was like "Do you live here?" I said no, I am waiting for a friend. He smiled and then walked past me and opened the door with some card, and I realized he lived there. My friend did not live in that building, it was just our meeting point. Waved back, told me to enjoy my day. I then took a better look at the car and realized it's the car I've been swearing on just a few days earlier because it was parked in a wrong area at school and driver was blocking the access. Did not see the guy inside but after all my screaming he moved it. I went to class that day so proud after that, studying law gives one a little sense of righteousness ... and I met the dude on the hallway. He took one look at me and had a little laugh, no explaining no nothing. I didn't think much of it, but after seeing the car he parked that day... I felt so so so little and dumb and all omg ...I went from *he knows my name, though I am not his student <3 aww my gawd* to *oh, that is why he knows my name* in a minute :))))
I did not see Strong girl Namsoon, it annoyed me way too much in the first minutes.I couldn't even watch it though, later on when randomly seeing some videos, the "villain" seemed very well chosen. Imagine how happy I was I get to see more of his work without having to put up with that drama :))
