They go way back, he has her name tag, but she forgot about him (or blocked it due to something really bad between them as kids, she is very capable of erasing it and then move on like nothing happened, as we can all see) He was all happy remembering her, but it might just be him being grateful that she forgot it all and know has a second chance.
If they both have similar conditions (might have met at the doctor as kids) he might feel she is the only one who understood him and definitely does not see her as a crush..

I think it is either YJ 's dad (who is a very creepy guy and everyone seems to know something about him) or SML (because he was there and had the chance to do something to those pills, aaaand he has her same medical issue, he might be dual right now as well.. dude must be investigating himself without knowing, big time :))) Memento vibes :)))

Yes, that was kind of badly written, should have made it look like she was at least willing to go there... If i;d see a picture like that of my wife I too would think something was wrong.

the SML changed the pills when they met at the hotel, remember she dropped them and he then later meets with her and gives them to her.
... he, at the moment, must have had the same breakdown as her and is acting as savior, as a total different person, maybe he stopped medication as the FL just did. Sooooo daaaamn i thought he was kinda cute :)))

ALSO the SFL dad still seems shady, he's the second one I suspect of going to the room with her.

I can no longer suspect a twin, since the DNA would have found some connection.

what if she had a relationship with one, and had the baby with the brother, without knowing... maybe under the drugs she couldn't even tell... and ML found out from his brother, before dying ... but if so, why wait one year after his death then start an affair.. no theory of mine leads to a logical conclusion :)))

i'm afraid too that they gave so many hints they will forget about them and in the end we will be like:
-who pushed her over the bridge?
-who died a year ago?
-what DNA test?
-SML is a villain or not? I didn't see him during the conference but he was there.... is he staging all of it?
-Who the F*** is the detective???
-What's with that journalist...
- why make her go to hell bro? did she cheat on you and forgot? due to the drugs ? Or are you trying to make it look like she cheated so that she finally goes crazy?
-second female lead's dad is giving way to many creepy vibes..

if they forget about tiny details and in the end it won't match in the puzzle I'ma flip

It might just seem like that, i saw the preview and he does seem very eager to have her, that is the piece i cannot fit. If he really wants the daughter, and he is not the father, why would he really want her? Unless it is to make her fight or something, give her a reason to use all the evidence. If he is the father and real husband, why would he do all this? Honestly at this point I just want it to have a really good plot and no major holes, so that all our thinking gets rewarded somehow 😂

maybe to enrage her and make her use all the evidence she has.. if they were to separate nicely nothing about that real husband's life would come out. She would be a wife who's marriage faild, and that is all. He fabricated a lot of evidence, the contract, the video..etc. Plus he seems utterly disgusted with the mistress and even at that colleague when he said "you cannot find a better piggy bank" ... he does not act the way speaks I donno.. i might just be confused.
Maybe it's just the classic cheating husband and she gets another shot at life with her colleague (whom apparently does not remember meeting as a kid either, barely remembered him as an adult). But they'd be kinda cool....oh, which reminds me: WHO THE HECK THREW HER OVER THE BRIDGE :)))))))

yeah, and maybe the brother decided continued pretending for a year now (and started caring for the wife and the child) and had to restart seeing the mistress (who suffered an abortion if i remember right, maybe she was out of the picture for a while, maybe had therapy for mental breakdown or something, but came back 3 months ago) ... it's a log shot, i know :)))

You know what threw me off though? The part where he shakes and gets angry and says "you really don't know?! I love.... I love someone else". I said above as well, I think the one we are seeing now is not the real husband, who had a double life, we are seeing the brother that somehow does not want to pretend as the real husband did, and is trying to get her out of that life.
I felt that line as if he's been pretending to be her husband for a while now, and ended up caring for her, somehow expecting her to see the differences as well ("you really don't know?!") and the "I love..." followed by the pause, led me to think how hurt he was that he cannot tell her why he is doing all of it.
He said he wants the daughter to enrage her and make her use all the evidence he gave her (the video, the contract etc) and destroy the mistress as well.

This is how I see it. It would be a great idea for a plot, it would be sad if it's just me reading too much into it :(

i loved how casual everything changed: from hope to instant realization, from power to defeat, from control to total disbelief.. it made all of it feel real. It was one of the best things I've seen in terms of script and acting.

I think the husband was a scumbag. I think he found his brother and was trying to convince him to pretend to be him, while he gets to fool around with the mistress. The husband then gets in an accident and being scared to loose the wife and thus all her money, he again begs the brother for help. Kind of "just until I get better, please, I don't wanna loose my entire life, she is famous if this gets out I loose it all." etc etc... but then dies or something.
But I believe that while pretending, the brother ends up really caring for the wife, and despising the mistress and the games the husband played. So I am thinking that by helping the wife divorce and giving her all the evidence, he is setting her free.
I strongly believe the Heo Soon Young we are seeing is in fact the missing brother, helping her.

If it is not this, then I really, really ...REALLY misunderstood the "I love... " part when they were fighting, cause I read some very deep emotions there that due to a secret, cannot be shared.

It's either this or I just came up with a better plot.
