Ok, I officially dropped it, but must admit I was still curious about it. So, i kinda danced through the scenes just to satisfy my curiosity till the end.
What bothers me is that FML had only 2 great acting scenes where she played so good. (the one when she started crying after never uttering a word, and the one when she was stabbed, in the end.) So, all in all, she's magnificent if she has to play a suffering woman.
That and some good visuals... the rest was messing and all over the place. So sorry about it :(
My only complaint here is that good guys look like bad guys, and bad guys look like good guys. So far at least, I mean I just saw 2 eps.
On the other hand, great acting, really cool active scenes, very well done. Loving it so far from this point of view. Also, I love Jang Seung Jo. He is a phenomenal actor whom they really ignored in Good Detective. Poor guy had nothing to act in that one, he seemed bored out of his mind. Here you can see his real potential.. loved him in Money Flower as well. He's so expressive.
I gotta say, this looks so good, the sound, image, all of it... but man, the dialogues... THE F. DIALOGUES .. they just ruin everything. They make everyone seem dumb and unaware, every god damn character seems to have the stupid. It makes everything look like a children's play.
Yes, the fight scenes, the way they are played out are indeed well done. But then they open their mouths ...
P.S : that is exactly what is missing between the two main leads. Yes, they have a very good story between them, but no matter how many times you grab her hand and throw her to the wall, there will be no f***in chemistry if there is NO good exchange of words as well. No matter how big her eyes are while looking at him, it does not matter if there is zero quality conversation. Where is the God damn logic to ask a man having an open fracture if the leg is broken? Why why why....
Please, just remove all dialogues and play the series without them and it will look fantastic!!
Ok so, this should air this year.. I saw S1 when it was airing, yet it feels like I just finished it. God damn pandemic messing with time perception.. :))))
It was very slow and the story unfolds kind of average. Acting was good (as expected given the cast) but the plot was beyond mediocre. I saw it all out of curiousty to see where it goes, mostly because I enjoyed the acting, but it was all put together in sleep mode. By that I mean you can fall asleep and not miss anything big.
1. Ex cop walks into a room and finds a tied up teenager, obviously kind of hurt. Reaction? does not free the…
related to the kid being the killer, his face was not entirely shown, or did i miss that? i just saw some smiles under the hoodie. if it was the second bulgasal as they say it is, face should be clear at this point which is not. hmmm..i'm doubting it now :))
It seems you haven't really watched much k/cdramas as much, fantasy at that. I was curious to find plausible flaws…
i still watch it because i like it, i was just saying some things seem irrational even in the fantasy context.. (like sysyphus or tale of 9 tails... ) but flaws here are not that important, not so far.
I just can't believe it's so good.

"WHAT ARE YOU?"
*few ep. later..."
"WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU??"
*few ep. later.."
"JUST WHO ARE YOU? EXACTLY?!"
*few ep. later*
"YOU..... WHO ARE YOU?!"
