1. Ex cop walks into a room and finds a tied up teenager, obviously kind of hurt. Reaction? does not free the kid, rather takes him along into a pursuit of a killer. Cop of the year :))) 2. You are an immortal being, you fight monsters for so many years, yet you run off leaving him alive and well with a person you obviously care for, not thinking what he might do to that person whom I'm pretty sure you were touched to see. 3. TELL ME! - said she while viciously stabbing him. 4. Weird dude who obviously can kill you decides to run after you, instead of taking the car. Ok, let's say it would be difficult in the woods though Hollywood always finds a way. So you are a scared woman hiding. You leave your bag behind cause who cares what he might find about and your sister if the killer gets it. Ok, let's say she has nothing in there. But why run to the car and well... not think there might be no key in it? And why the hell sit there having a conversation when the dude says I NEED TO KILL YOU when later on it's obvious you could have gotten out of the car. 5. The killer is the teenager kid. Not a monster, just some reincarnation of the blind kid whom obviously holds the same grudge his dad has against her, maybe even worse. Just, try to hide it better if this is supposed to be a plot twist. Cause I caught that waaay too fast. 6. Who the hell spends 600 years wanting to kill a woman and never actually tries to?
There are some choices and conversations one would not have given the context. I know it's a fantasy but it doesn't mean it should be childish. It does not mean I'll stop watching, it's pretty good still, despite these, It's not plain dumb like Sysyphus the myth.
Plus, it did start out good, I can see they're trying to build a complicated plot, but..so did MOUSE and hardly made any mistakes.
Ok so, remeber that scene in ep 14 when the king is thinking about her outloud, confused as hell, well he has his hand up to his forehead while talking, and I started laughing like an idiot looking at his wrist... because you can clearly see all the time he spend on PC 🤣🤣

I understood there was a petition to remove Mr. Queen too, because facts were distorted. Don't get what was distorted there? Was it the time travel not correctly described ? :)))
I am not Korean, I might not understand their patriotism, but in my country people were as well tortured for anything they said that would have been slightly against the regime. I think I would be bothered too if someone would try to romanticize a criminal with a victim, but is this what's happening here?

Of course he is selfish etc etc. Plus, an arrgument to this was the :lay with her and it will go away. I felt he thinks he can offer more than her (you may have her, she's just a woman, bed is all she can offer. I on the other hand...). that is what i thought
Is it just me or is Master Hong a bit in love with the crown prince? There is a fine line between adoration and admiration. Surely one can feel both towards one person, but it's rarely just platonic.
I mean, I get that he desires to be the next King's advisor, confident and the closest person to rely on, but I kind feel he wants all that because he feels whatever the King would achieve would be thanks to him, to his loyalty and support, he does want him to succeed, but he is so deeply hurt and deceived, as only a person who gives himself completely to another, would.
I like master Hong's character a lot. Mostly because he portrays the struggle so real: that moment you realize your adoration for someone does not take you out of that person's shadow.
For me this was one of the best episodes. I do not see it as a filler. It had great tension build and the lines are just so well written. It is the only historical drama in which I do not skip parts (usually I follow the main leads and the plot kinda bores me).
This show however, looks like a painting in any scene it shows. Lines are straight out of a book and look like a very well detailed play. Not to mention costumes, vibe and emotion displayed.
Ya'll ready for the painful ending? I did not read the story this is based on, I did hear it's rather sad, but I have grown to enjoy acting far more than the stories (of course, they have to be good to make me watch, but a happy ending for my fave characters does not define it anymore as good or bad) . So, regardless of the ending, I enjoy seeing what the actors can offer in each show I decide to watch.
HOW did I reach this bliss? Well, f***ing START UP :)) I recommend each kdrama fan to watch that one in order to reach despair, shake it off.
Gonna tag it as spoiler in case someone's hopes get ruined by searching for the story this is based on. Maybe they did not know this detail.

Felt the same. But given that it didn't ruin the rest and the fact that there will not be a season 2, they were fair and respectful to their fans. I am really happy with it. Gave it a 10/10 as well even if the ending itself didn't feel like a 10, all the rest did :D
