I really dislike Li Quan’s parents ,they’re manipulative and narcissistic. They make me realize how many children end up making wrong decisions because of parents like them, who see their kids as investments meant to pay them back one day. And as if that weren’t enough, they burden them with responsibilities that don’t belong to them, duties that should fall on the parents themselves ,but they get so deep into the child’s mind that the child starts feeling guilty and worthless if they don’t “repay” the so-called kindness they’ve received. Li Quan is trapped in self-victimization because of his background; he’s started becoming jealous and dishonest. That’s how life goes. The ML’s family is healthy,at least the FL doesn’t have people constantly filling her with negativity. I know I’m once again siding with a character who has caused chaos, but I just can’t bring myself to blame him.
these are just typical kdrama troups... I did roll my eyes when the childhood story appeared but I half expect…
It was good at first, but it became really repetitive. Like I said in my previous comment, it’s a nice drama for beginners, but as a “pro” viewer, I think we need something more refreshing and intense. Lately, I’ve been more into historical Cdramas, but I have to say modern Kdramas still have their own special essence. ✨
Overall, it’s good, but the fact that almost every Kdrama main couple has a “childhood story” together is getting kind of boring. I also don’t like how he fell for her the moment he realized she was the girl who saved him back then ,that just feels more like obsession than love. And honestly, bringing back the ex in every rom com is getting too repetitive. If they want to make the ML jealous, they could easily introduce a new character instead. I’m not trying to hate, it’s just my opinion as someone who’s watched over 50 Kdramas in the past few years.🥲🫡
I like the ML a lot🥹, but I’m still unsure about the pairing. The age gap makes it a bit hard for me to feel their chemistry. does anyone feel the same 🥲
She abandoned him because she wanted revenge for her sister. Then she saved JB, but she didn’t fully heal him ,that’s why she gave him the antidote. So now, his life is in danger again. 😔
Actually, I’m a little sad about SL. His past was terrible, he was bullied and unloved by his brothers and father, treated like a dog. Yet he still managed to find a little peace and love in Ming Yi. Fate just wasn’t on his side. JB was in a similar situation, but he fought the evil because he wasn’t alone. At first, he had his master, then Buxiu, and Ming Yi ,he was loved, and he loved them back. SL only had the fox, who was obsessed with him and often a bad influence. I want to blame him, but I can’t. Even though he’s the villain now, in his own story, I’m sure he’s the main lead. 🙁
