actaully looking at the scenes during the ending song it seems our 2nd lead will eventually get involved with mrs tong (the singlemom) and the opening song suggestes it is the FL who will loose her job not the ML

I have finished, still a 10/10.

I am perfectly okay with the ending. My interpretation is that CY did indeed passed away ten years later, she arrived in the afterlife and was greeted to be reunited with the gang, which makes it poetic in that sense, that no one is truly alone. The two disciples have each other in life and everyone else is together in the afterlife.

And that kinda makes it a happy ending.

Other then that i loved the entire journey, quite the fitting title. I loved the music, the acting, the shots and the direction of this drama and it shall be my favorite Cdrama of 2023! And with that, i wish everyone happy holidays.

the kiss scene was so good and so cute and everyone made it so romantic lol. now I am looking forward to ep 16 when our leads meet LTG, its gonna be fun :D

well lets face it, he has destined to die written on him since his introduction. also i took a sneak peak at the cast list, and their childs name is kinda giving it away. his name is gonna live on in probably the most badass kid ever created in that fictional universe. Dont be sad and just enjoy his journey, mhh.

it doesnt have romance but the fight scenes in mysterious lotus case book are also very well done. and its my 2nd fav. chinese drama this year.

surprisingly no main character dies, but many side characters do.

episode 6 is where the film crew and idol trainees arrive, which is mildly entertaining. i do like the interaction between the firefighters and the opening scene was pretty well done too. i am not really interested into the romance for now but other then that I am enjoying my time with it. Solid 8 sofar.

i think its quite happy. i mean all main characters live that alone is more then i expected lol

yes its fine, think of the last 5 minutes as something that might happen in a season 2, but its not actually needed. the actual end of the drama is at the 42 minute mark in episode 24

you never know what was cut out in that bathscene, but i think the implication was that they got it going in that bathtub. He cant trust her because he knows she has ulterior motives and she can not trust in love, considering her entire clan was wiped out because of it. if it is true or not, we may never know, the only thing we do know is that they can not walk the same path at the time of their farewell.
