As many have already pointed out, this series has been fantastic so far, and I'm eagerly anticipating the next episode. However, what really stands out to me is the opening theme that is just as captivating as the series itself. The music perfectly captures the show's playful yet intriguing atmosphere that heightens your excitement and anticipation for what's to come
Considering the young age of the cast, their performances in this series is commendable. The series has shown promising potential, and I hope it continues to gain traction. Beyond nostalgia for the original series, I'm eager to see if it can establish its own identity and create a memorable viewing experience
Episode 6 of this series is a disappointment. The rushed pacing and disjointed plot hinder the development of Hero and Pop's captivating dynamic, particularly Pop's comfort with Hero's bombastic personality. The introduction of Pop's ex and Hero's internal turmoil should have been a turning point, but the episode fails to capitalize on this potential. With only ten episodes, the story feels rushed and incomplete with no in-depth exploration of the characters and their relationships.
There is something off about this BL series. Not sure if its the acting, the direction, the plot or lack thereof, the editing or the dialogue. The series suffers from a lack of cohesion, with a plot that jumps haphazardly from one scene to another. The characters lack depth, and the dialogue feels forced and unnatural. I am waiting for something substantive to happen to keep me hooked.
We are at the stage in this series, where we are still learning about Takara's character and Taishin's anxious behavior. I feel the remaining 3 episodes will not be enough to tie a lot of these loose ends. I hope its not a rushed 3 episodes as the potential for a strong ending is there, but it hinges on the pacing and character development in the upcoming episodes.
They threw the opportunity away with the cast and director choice. His previous work is bad. Seems this drama…
There might be an undeniable pattern with this director but there are other creative heads working on this series and they are all to be blamed for this casting. My opinion is they all didn't approve this just to create a controversy

The casting choices in Addicted Heroin have undoubtedly sparked discussions and I in no way support the decision of the director and producer of this show. Certainly not willing to die on this hill. That being said, I was trying to share my objective opinion about the first episode. There is a larger conversation to be had about the industry and its exploitation of minors

I would affirm your opinion that the cast is problematic because of Mac's age and how the story progresses. While it's a valid point, I believe the production team wouldn't invest substantial resources into a project solely for controversy
With two previous adaptations with varied challenges of censorship, Addicted Heroin has a significant opportunity to fully realize the potential. Third times a charm, right? Strong character development and undeniable chemistry between the leads will be key to the series' success
This series is unfortunately falling short due to its disjointed narrative and rushed pacing. The plot jumps abruptly between storylines, leaving characters underdeveloped and relationships feeling forced. The initial conflict between Ob and Shan held promise, but it was quickly resolved without exploring its potential. While there are intriguing elements, the series needs to focus on building a cohesive world and deeper character arcs to truly engage its audience
This series seems to be finally picking up steam! This week's episode delivered long-awaited insights into Takara's past, and Nakano's growing feelings for him are adding much-needed depth to the story. While the series has been a slow burn, these developments are promising. Hope it doesn't disappoint. Nakano still remains his naive self but we get to see some character development for Takara. Eager to see where the story goes from here!
Every week I return to this series hoping for something exciting to happen and so far there hasn't been much. While this week's episode offered a glimpse into Takara's past, the series still feels like it's treading water. I'm eager to see more character development and plot progression. Hoping for a more substantial payoff in the upcoming episodes
Agreed. They did this in SaharaToki and now here AGAIN T-T
So far we just know Mizuki broke up with Sakae and it impacted him, but with little to no character introduction for Mizuki, I would have still liked to see the blooming relationship between our two main characters than this cliched ex-lover return trope
After a promising start with character development and sweet interactions between Sakae and Soga, the introduction of Mizuki feels like a shift towards familiar BL tropes. While some might enjoy classic past-love conflicts, I'm hoping the series finds a way to handle this within the unique dynamic they've established so far. Exploring Soga easing in to his life at Osaka with Sakae's help thereby building a relationship could be a refreshing path while staying true to the characters and this will give a chance to also build that chemistry that is currently lacking
What do you think is the age difference between the two characters? I'll tell you something: Toki participates…
Haha, yes, you caught me! Even I can't resist a charming actor and juicy side characters. Don't judge me, Rintaro's smile is brighter than a thousand suns! So yeah, I watched, I swooned over side characters and I winced at the main plot. I'll find better BL fuel, but you gotta admit, this series is like a delicious dessert with a questionable main ingredient. You can enjoy it while still raising an eyebrow, right?

While I understand the appeal of the romance here, the inherent power imbalance in a teacher-student relationship makes me deeply uncomfortable. Their age gap might not be significant, but the dynamic creates a vulnerability in Toki that Sahara, despite his good intentions, could potentially exploit, even indirectly. I'm not trying to impose my discomfort on others who enjoy the series, but I believe highlighting these concerns is crucial. There are fantastic BL narratives that explore love and desire without crossing ethical boundaries, and perhaps requires more focus.
While the series offers genuine moments of friendship and remarkable character development, it's difficult to overlook the ethical complexities of the student-teacher relationship, especially considering the age gap. As we anticipate the conclusion of the series, it's clear that there are still many loose ends waiting to be tied together. I will watch the last episode with little hope
It was indeed sweet to see Sakae earnestly attempting to connect with Soga with a broad smile but also bittersweet to learn that previously he had stretched himself thin doing the same. The past relationships for both Soga and Sakae has been a lesson for them. Stormy waters on the horizon in the upcoming episode
I totally see it. There are some introverts/people that sorta close themselves off (I mean Soga is still reeling…
For Sakae, may be it is love at first sight or he saw something interesting in Soga and as he met and interacted more and more with him, he couldn't help but fall in love. Whatever the reason might be, I am rooting for them.
The series has shown promising potential, and I hope it continues to gain traction. Beyond nostalgia for the original series, I'm eager to see if it can establish its own identity and create a memorable viewing experience
