As i have seen a few people comment like that since they have mentioned other shows but i have got a bit of a other view because every project, no matter if it is a movie or show has it's own feeling.

Surely the drama you have mentioned was a good one but what is in the past, stays in the past. Lovely Runner seems to have a refreshing plot, especially since i am familiar with the novel and there is nothing to compare like they are going to be adults as well and this is not considered as an highschool drama.

I would focus on the positive comments. You have given some good points, i tend to believe people sleep on Hyeyoon's talent as well. She has been in the industry for about 11 years now?

Those who are familiar with her journey would know that she did not had it easy at first. Her main focus in the first 5 years were her studies, where she has received full scholarship, so she had supporting roles until Sky Castle happened.

This woman has got diverse roles. I hope a lot of things are going to change once Lovely Runner starts because she deserves more recognition.

Some have no idea but she got around 10 nominations for her movie "The Girl On A Bulldozer" alone and has won 5 or 6 of them? That says a lot!

Regarding Hyeyoon, i've dropped Sd but people described it more as an "grey" character so it makes sense. The thing is i think those people who have only seen her in Sky Castle or in that show should give her other projects a try. It's fine if others don't like her acting but i think her best roles so far have to be in:

Extraordinary You (Show) - Fantasy, Romcom
The Girl On A Bulldozer (Movie) - Mystery

I've neither watched any of those dramas but i have heard their story lines and since i am familiar with the novel (which is completed unlike the webtoon)..Lovely Runner might be something completely different, the only common thing is the time-travel part?

Wooseok has impressed me in his latest movies. The casting director did something right with the whole cast for Lovely Runner

I get where you are coming from but this is a time-travel drama and if they follow a bit the novel, which the drama is based on then they will stay not too long in the highschool setting and the rest is being them as adults.

Wooseok's character is a band member and actor in the present.

To be honest even when i have read the novel and webtoon..I don't know what to expect at this point. I'm kinda glad they have changed little things like it seems that Seonjae is time-travelling as well since he has got a watch

After my opinion Hyeyoon, as in the female lead is doing it natural that it does not feel like over the top and comedy is something which not everyone is good at but just from seeing the teaser i had some good laughs

I do not think there will be a high chance for Netflix..It better be on Amazon Prime globally because i do not want to use Viki at all, unless there is no other option

They'll be adults as well so it's more mixed and if they follow a bit the story of the novel then they'll be like 40% in the high school setting and 60% as adults

I understand there are people who are not familiar with the newest updates or the novel/webtoon but Lee Seunghyub's role is more like a cupid for the main leads.

Apart from that, he is a member of their band.

Regarding Song Geonhee's character there could be something but that's for everyone to find out, unless you wanna have some more information.
