But honestly, what make me interested on watching is ding yuxi's and meng ziyi's characters, so knowing that he died, forget it.. 😔😔

Just finished re-watching... This drama always makes me happy watching it.

Suzuki and Aoki is the only people who have ever seen Maki at his worst, when he is ridden by shame and guilt that threatened to destroy him. The only people who can calm and assure Maki that he deserved better, that he is not the only one who should shoulders the sins. When Suzuki lived, he is Maki's anchor. But after him, Aoki became that person.

You are right.. I'm glad at least Aoki's real feeling resurface early in the relationship, (I know he already proposed) but it's not something that can't be fix.

I really hope that many people will watch this drama, that's why I recommended it to my friend.
You know, if there's BL tag or at least bromance, it will be more popular.
People always thought the worst when it comes to J-dramas even without watching it first. same like this adaptation, people already feel it will not be up to standard of the manga cause usually live adaptation is far off from the original sources.
If another season is a no no, I hope we will get another drama with these two as the main actors

I always felt that Maki thinks he doesn't deserved happiness after what happened at the earliest episode. It make him keep Aoki at arms length. He always a little bit more harsh towards Aoki. Even though I feels Maki like Aoki. after he realised that Aoki developed a feelings towards Yukiko, he doesn't fight back for Aoki cause he thought he doesn't deserved it, and he owed Yukiko her happiness. If Aoki is not influenced by Suzuki's feeling, I guess we will not have that stressful love triangle again. Cause Aoki will realise that his feelings for Maki is not so platonic early on the game.

Yup, I really really need it. Some fans even asked for a BL drama with them as a pair. So many people can't move on from this pair

Well, the label really doesn't matters though. Cause everyone can feel the dynamic between Aoki and Maki. I thought in the last few minutes Maki want to give up on Aoki again. That's why he told him to get married. And seeing Aoki's crying, he is in war between comforting him or letting it be. And he choose the latter. But on the airport, Maki already made his final decision, that he will give it a try. That's why he said that no matter how long, Aoki have no need to rush, cause he will be waiting.

Maki's character is the one who made me fall in love with this drama. He is such a complicated and tragic characters that at the end of the day, you just wanna give the world to him. It's really show in that scenes on the final ep, when he asked Aoki to end him.

It's subtle, but not too subtle yeah. The end game have already been determined. But we still need another episode, or another season. Oh I can watch those two dancing around each other, with their not so subtle behaviours, For another 10 or 20 episodes

You see, I send a link from Instagram to my friend containing the interaction between aoki x maki and Suzuki x maki, you know what he said? "Are you sure it's not BL." Cause for him it's at least a censored level BL

No, it's ok. You make it clear for me. Now I understand. I got confused by the flashback when Suzuki wanna introduced her to Maki. I thought they're from the same class, and know each other at the same times. She did love Suzuki, but in the middle feels infatuated with Maki. But she can't break up with Suzuki cause she is sure, that her love for Maki will ended up in a failure. And she tried to do the same with Aoki, when he is got influenced by Suzuki's feeling. But I'm glad he can break out from the influence of Suzuki's feeling and makes it clear to her when he break up with her. That now, he choose Maki over her.
But I didn't expect that Yukiko will keep trying to win Aoki back. And from Aoki's expression we can see that it didn't cause a stir in his heart. He looks just like "oh, you like me"

God iam sorry if I sound annoying. I just love this drama so much. I don't even read the manga yet. It's already make me crazy.
But I already re-watching the last ep especially minutes 28:00 to 30:00 on repeat.

I think I've been coming back here so many times for the past 5 days that it's enough to last me a lifetime .
Seeing the last episode with yukiko's confessions to Aoki that at first she has feelings for Maki, but slowly fell in love with Aoki, it is really meant she doesn't love Suzuki, right? Cause at the first ep, we saw how she still hung up on Maki. And it seems Suzuki realised that too. I always thought that she dated Suzuki because she wanna hurt Maki, cause she knew Maki always have deeper feelings for Suzuki. And Suzuki's feeling for Maki is more platonic like, like a sibling's love. and he really does love Yukiko, that's why the transfer of feelings happened. (That's what I felt from the only time I watched the drama, and I haven't read the manga yet).
And when Aoki comes, he always knows his reason to comes there is for Maki. He admires him, he idolised him. And it's all going well, cause he doesn't feel anything towards Yukiko too. But everything going downhill after Aoki saw the MRI of Suzuki's brain. And he developed a feeling for Yukiko out of nowhere. I know at first he doesn't realise that he is being influenced by Suzuki's feeling. But that scenes when he started to get confused how and why he proposed to Yukiko started making him doubt his feeling towards Yukiko. He started to analyse his feeling for both Yukiko and Maki. So it's not something out of ordinary that he choose to break up with Yukiko using the excuse of he can't put Yukiko in danger. And when he still chooses to stay with Maki, I think Yukiko realised that Aoki is not Suzuki. For Aoki, Maki will always be more important than her. That this time, she is the one that got left behind.

I'm sorry, but you're the terrible one, here. It's okay if you don't like it. It's okay if you don't understand it. I've no idea about the manga (the original sources)too. But can you please, say it in polite way? your word is too harsh. If you don't understand their dynamics, it's on you.
It's not something out of ordinary for Aoki to develop a feelings for yukiko after seeing the MRI of Suzuki's brain. Cause from the start, Suzuki has said to Maki that seeing someone's MRI, can make the feeling transfer to the one who watch it. That's what happened with Aoki. His feeling for Yukiko is based on Suzuki's feeling.
And for technology, why did you expect it's to make sense? It's fiction to began with. Many dramas or movies be it western or Asian, have this kind non sense (on your opinion) technology .

Why that last hug feels so emotional? Other than rewinding that scenes, I'm busy wiping my eyes too. I feel sorry for Maki. He looks so tired. I feel his pain.

Just finished!!!! The last ep is intense. The scenes where Maki ask Aoki to shoot him, and that hug, I rewind that scenes many times. Cause that scene gives me goosebumps.
But The scenes where Maki ask Aoki to get married is hilarious for me. Cause Aoki looks like someone betrayed him. He should've answer with "I'll marry, if the other half is you, Maki-san". Damn, my fujoshi's brain acting up. But who can blamed me, Maki and Aoki really have strong chemistry.

I really, really, really, really need a second season. But please make it with the same casts. The casts in this drama really do a good job.
