Before criticizing how the drama is filmed, one has to take into account that it was made in 2002, so the special effects are not on the same level as today's. But special effects and camera angles aside, the cast was great––they all did a very good job––and the story was so interesting and heart wrenching! It even came with two important messages: to live for the moment and to take care of the Earth––for it's dying!
Personally, I really like the ending. It just shows that even the smallest of changes can make a difference. I would even go so far as to call it a happy ending. An ending that certainly made me relieved (after all that crying) and smirking at the pure cleverness of the plot! I will definitely watch this drama again someday. ♡
I like Byun Hye Yeong. She questions Korea's konservative view on marriage and for me, coming from a country which is really accepting of couples, even young couples, living together without being married, finds this really uplifting. Since I have a hard time watching the older people going on and on about a woman living with a man like it's shameful––and therefore she has to marry the guy. Like she said in ep. 21: "Now that I'm over 30, people never ask me what my future plans are. Why do they only want to know when I plan to get married?" Either way, if she ends up marrying Jung Hwan I will still be happy. The point is, she stood up for her beliefs and independence as a woman, and her right to choose––to have a choice. ♡
Love, love, love #1 and #4! ♡Lee Sung Min was brilliant in Misaeng and Kang Shin Il is always a joy to watch; I've seen him in Bad Guys, Pinocchio, Emergency Couple, Lie To Me, Personal Taste and so on––the list is long!
Why are everyone so angry... He didn't know why he disappeared, or that he was gonna get stabbed – he never saw it. He did everything he could to change it, with the police there and everything. So I wouldn't say that he's stupid, it's just no matter what he couldn't change his fate. I just hope the traffic accident at least can change, to prove that these small changes would have a ripple effect and indeed change the future after all. That these small changes we do in life could mean everything in the end. But maybe it's just my hope talking.
I watched this movie last year, but tomorrow they will show this movie at some theaters here in Sweden❤
Oh, I'm from Sweden as well! And I was seriously shocked when I saw a poster of this movie in the subway of all places!! It's so cool, I never thought that would happen! :D
And that ending was just so sad! But, it fit perfectly. Honestly, one of the best movies about zombies that I've seen so far. ♡
Nailed it! And I especially love and appreciates Jung Joon Hyeong. He wasn't that typical cold, mean, rich guy who makes the heroine feel like shit in the beginning but then he turns out to be a "really nice" guy in the end. Jung Joon Hyeong was first and foremost a really good friend. He was kind, fun and clung to Bok Joo acting cute, and caring towards everyone, but vulnerable and ready to seek help. It was realistic and a fresh breeze amongst clichés. ♡
Oh gosh.... now I'm helplessly in love with Takano Seiichi, aka Manager. ♥ Why do I always fall in love with…
Haha! There might be some truth to that, but - true or not - if I met a man like Takano, I would be a lucky girl for the rest of my life. *sigh* But the probability of that happening is like... 0,0001%, so I will just keep watching dramas. T^T
I have a love-hate relationship with cliches, but these I can endure and love when done right and natural. I especially like nr. 6 Gender Bender, 5 Sleeping On Shoulder and 3 Back Hug. A cozy back hug can never go wrong. <3
The music was perfect, acting believable - even more so by the fact that they had the some age as their character - and the story was just amazing! Struggles they went through were realistic, which got me hooked, and crying. Overall, I would say a 10! Now, what am I gonna watch that can compare...
Love it ♡ 10 moves we all know are coming, and still appreciate, since they're so sweet, or surprisingly passionate. Thank you~~ this article just made my day!
