A masterpiece
I have no words to explain how much I loved this drama. It is my all time favourite and an absolute work of art. The soundtrack was perfect and I still listen to some songs sometimes. I cared so much for the characters and I love how complicated and morally grey they could be and I would still love them. This drama made my heart feel full, it made me sob, it made me smile and laugh and everything in between and I so wish it was possible to forget it all and watch it again because it was an absolutely brilliant masterpiece and I cannot recommend it enough!Was this review helpful to you?
Chaos - banter and rivalry, although lacking chemistry
This drama, so far, has been chaotic and funny (albeit a bit too childish at times) and has set the stage for an enemies/rivals to lovers story. It has been decently enjoyable, if a bit slow at times, but overall I am interested in seeing what happens next. She seems quite quirky which I like and I look forward to seeing their relationship develop further, although I hope to see more chemistry between the two leads as I feel there's a bit of a lack of it right now. I loved the younger actors who played them in school, but the present day leads aren't as captivating, in my opinion.This drama may not be everyone's cup of tea, but possibly worth a chance if you like chaotic love stories, banter, school/work rivals and reunions. The worst that can happen is you wasted a bit time on a story that isn't for you, at the end of the day. But in my opinion, you still learn something from the stories you don't like, even if it just helps you narrow down what you like about a story. That said, I do hope to raise my rating as more episodes come out, I've just found it a bit lacking so far.

A work of art with a brilliant cast
This show was devastating both times I watched it and after rating it 9 for my first watch, I have to raise it to 10 after a rewatch. This story is so well written and clever and casted absolutely perfectly. Park Ji Hoon did such an incredible, incredible job and his performance haunts me. I cannot wait for season 2 and I implore everyone to give this drama a chance! It's short, concise and excellent! Chaotic and hilarious
This drama was so funny, it had me crying laughing. It had some flaws and gave me the worst second lead syndrome I've ever had, but overall it was incredible and I commend all the writers and actors. It was so easy to keep watching, each episode kept me invested and the characters were so likable and interesting and hilarious. It was a brilliant mess and I loved (almost) every minute! Despite one or two issues I had with the plot, I still loved this drama a lot and I love knowing I can go back and rewatch any time for a laugh!Was this review helpful to you?
A masterpiece
One of my all time favourite dramas. The soundtrack is my favourite ever and I regularly listen to it, it is so beautiful. Every single episode ended with a cliffhanger and I couldn't stop watching--this drama was a real obstacle during assignment week when I watched! The writing was incredible and lovely and the acting was brilliant. I loved both leads so, so much. This story made me laugh and cry and everything in between and I loved the ending so much. I would pay an exorbitant price to be able to swallow a pill and forget this drama so I could watch it again if that were possible. 10/10 stars is not enough, this drama is a work of art and I loved it more than words can adequately describe.Was this review helpful to you?
Clichés done well!
As cliché and predictable at times as this story could be, it was still very entertaining and oftentimes hilarious. Also the ads made me chuckle a lot because they were so obvious x)The cast was brilliant and acted their hearts out. The story was paced well except for one or two times along the way where I got a bit bored but overall it was good. The plot was good and I don't mind clichés when they still entertain me, but one or two plot points were placed oddly in my opinion and should not have been included as they just dragged the story on and irritated me. This is why I can't rate it 10 stars, but overall it was well worth the watch and I definitely understand the hype!
Side note, Ren has my heart, he's such a great character! <3

Decent, but a let down compared to season 1
A well casted and entertaining continuation that did not have a satisfying conclusion. I know it was to set up season 3, but every season of a show should have its own satisfying conclusion before being built upon in the next season. This just felt incomplete and so obviously a part 1 and that's why I won't give it higher than 7 stars. It does not compare to the brilliance of season 1 and how complete the story in season 1 felt. It was not as good, but it was still an easy watch with interesting characters, so I'll give it that.Was this review helpful to you?
A wonderful and hilarious adventure with lovable characters
Wow, what a journey! This drama was a breath of fresh air. It was hilarious and heartfelt and wonderful. The fantasy elements and world building were superb, the characters were so lively and I cared so deeply for them. I really, really loved this drama and the FL was so cute and funny, I really liked her and she was the perfect cast. As were the rest of the main characters too, they were perfect. This story was well written and I loved it, but it drag a little towards the end and took a bit more time to finish than the first 20 or so episodes which I absolutely flew through because I could not stop watching. Be sure to give this drama a chance if you like fantasy and demons, enemies to loversesque relationships (although not quite enemies, just a bit of the dynamic) and found family!Was this review helpful to you?
Cute fluffy romance
This drama was casted brilliantly. All the characters suited their roles well and delivered a cute romance. The relationships were healthy and it was wonderful to see, and despite some clichés I still adored this drama. It was relaxing and although the story wasn't really anything special, it was lovely enough to watch and, in my opinion, executed shat it set out to. I'm also loving the My Lovely Liar reunion haha, as I love that drama too.If you like relaxed romances where you don't have to stress too much (not that there isn't conflict, but it's not like serial killer conflict stressful haha), then this drama is certainly for you!

Entertaining, heartfelt, slow at times
This drama had depth and heartache and layered characters with complicated lives and relationships. This drama did an excellent job navigating difficult topics and although certain plot lines dragged on at times, it was still brilliant and well executed. I'd say Hwang In Youp is my favourite actor and he delivered a great performance as usual in this drama! His expressions are so great and he was the perfect choice for his character. Everyone else was great too, but he really shone brightly! Definitely give this drama a chance if you like the found family trope or heartfelt, deep, emotional stories about human connections and disconnections!Was this review helpful to you?
Cute and lighthearted, albeit imperfect
This drama didn't have much substance to it, and it was short so it's worth giving a try if you have any interest in it and if you don't like it you will have barely wasted any time :)I did enjoy it as a lighthearted drama with cute scenes and likeable characters. It's best not taken too seriously, as it is flawed with some acting issues and plot issues, but overall, was a pleasant viewing experience and I did get enjoyment out of it, that's what really matters in the end, isn't it? :) This is your sign to give ep 1 a try!

Cute and chaotic
Hilarious and chaotic are the two words that come to mind when I think of this drama. It was great and made me laugh a lot, but fell down a bit towards the end. As many dramas sadly do, it started out very strong and as it went on it dragged on and lost steam. It would have been better if it was less episodes, in my opinion, but despite the fact that it was longer than it needed to be and had some poor acting and weird scenes at the end, it was overall an entertaining experience and wonderful drama for laughs and lighthearted fun.Was this review helpful to you?
Satisfying revenge
This drama was action packed and tense and so satisfying! Revenge is sweet, as they say! The actors did a brilliant job and I loved how this drama played with my emotions at times. The villains were great--I hated them so they did a great job! The leads were sweet and I liked them together. Overall, this drama was very satisfying and kept me invested until the end. It was a great distraction and escape from the real world and I'm so glad I got to watch it! I highly recommend if you like revenge dramas!Was this review helpful to you?
Decent, started stronger than it ended
This drama was captivating at the beginning and I absolutely loved it. It was action packed and tense and full of twists and turns that kept me invested. As it went on, it dragged a bit and just wasn't as well written, so the later episodes ruined it a bit and lowered my rating but it was still a decent drama overall, just flawed and not as good as it could be because it had a lot of potential. Psychotic ML and a story that went off the rails
This drama started our so well and I had such high hopes for it. It was intense and action filled and I was really rooting for the characters. Then somewhere along the line, the ML had a personality switch and completely one eighty-ed into a psychotic and toxic alpha male who I didn't like at all. His character was ruined imo, and I couldn't root for him anymore despite still liking the FL. It ruined the story that his character changed so much and the story itself dragged a bit and although I absolutely loved it at the start and appreciated all the action, this drama went of the rails towards the end and it ruined the story due to lack of consistency meaning the characters weren't believable.Was this review helpful to you?
